괴산군이 2025년산 공공비축미곡 1,573톤을 매입한다고 29일 밝혔다.
매입 대상은 건조벼 1,286톤, 산물벼 149톤, 친환경벼 138톤이다. 매입 품종은 알찬미와 참드림 2종이다. 포대벼는 농가로부터 직접 수매한다. 산물벼는 지역 RPC(DSC) 등 시설을 통해 매입한다.
공공비축미 매입 가격은 수확기(10월~12월) 전국 평균 산지 쌀값을 기준으로 결정한다. 수매 직후에는 포대당 4만 원의 중간 정산금을 지급한다. 최종 정산은 쌀값이 확정되는 연말에 한다.
품종검정제도 시행에 따라 매입 품종 외 벼를 출하할 경우 5년간 매입 대상에서 제외될 수 있다. 군은 농가에 매입 품종 기준을 철저히 준수해줄 것을 당부했다. 군 관계자는 "공공비축미 매입은 쌀 수급 안정과 함께 농가 소득 보전에 중요한 역할을 한다"며 "품종 이탈 방지를 위한 현장 지도와 점검도 지속적으로 병행하겠다"고 밝혔다.

The purchase targets are 1,286 tons of dried rice, 149 tons of bulk rice, and 138 tons of eco-friendly rice. The purchase varieties are two types: Alchanmi and Chamdream. The county will directly purchase bagged rice from farms. It will purchase bulk rice through facilities such as local RPCs (DSCs).
The county determines the public reserve rice purchase price based on the national average farm-gate rice price during the harvest season (October to December). It pays an interim settlement of 40,000 won per bag immediately after purchase. It will make the final settlement at the end of the year when rice prices are confirmed.
Under the variety inspection system, farmers who ship rice varieties other than the designated purchase varieties may be excluded from purchase eligibility for five years. The county urged farms to strictly comply with the purchase variety standards. A county official stated, "Public reserve rice purchase plays an important role in stabilizing rice supply and demand and preserving farm income," adding, "We will continue to conduct on-site guidance and inspections to prevent variety deviation."
