충북 소상공인 사업체가 19만개를 넘어서며 전체 영리사업체의 91%를 차지한 것으로 28일 나타났다.

국가데이터처 청주사무소가 발표한 '2025년 데이터로 보는 충청북도 소상공인' 조사 결과에 따르면 2023년 충북 영리사업체는 21만95개로 전년 대비 3.0% 증가했다.

이 중 소상공인 사업체는 19만1천764개로 전체의 91.3%를 차지했다.

업종별로는 도매 및 소매업이 4만7천277개(24.7%)로 가장 많았다. 숙박 및 음식업 16.1%, 건설업 11.3% 순이었다.

영업기간별로는 5~10년이 4만7천119개(22%)로 가장 많았다. 5년 이상 장수 소상공인은 전체의 21.8%를 차지했다.

대표자 연령은 50대가 31.3%로 가장 많았고, 성별은 남성이 60.9%, 여성이 39.1%였다.

시군별로는 청주시가 9만1천763개로 가장 많았다.

충북도 소상공인 5개년 생존율은 1년차 46.8%, 5년차 83.0%로 나타났다.

Small business establishments in Chungbuk surpassed 190,000, accounting for 91% of all for-profit businesses, according to data released on the 28th.

According to the '2025 Chungcheongbuk-do Small Business Data' survey results announced by the National Data Agency Cheongju Office, for-profit businesses in Chungbuk numbered 210,095 in 2023, a 3.0% increase from the previous year.

Of these, small business establishments numbered 191,764, accounting for 91.3% of the total.

By industry, wholesale and retail trade had the most with 47,277 establishments (24.7%). Accommodation and food service was 16.1%, and construction 11.3%.

By operating period, 5-10 years had the most with 47,119 establishments (22%). Long-standing small businesses operating over 5 years accounted for 21.8% of the total.

By representative age, those in their 50s accounted for the most at 31.3%, and by gender, males were 60.9% and females 39.1%.

By city and county, Cheongju had the most with 91,763 establishments.

The 5-year survival rate for small businesses in Chungbuk was 46.8% for the first year and 83.0% for the fifth year.
