카카오톡에 챗GPT가 탑재됐다. 대화하면서 음악 추천, 지도 검색, 티켓 예약까지 한 번에 해결할 수 있다.
카카오는 카카오톡에 오픈AI의 챗GPT를 도입하고 자체 개발 AI 비서 '카나나' 시범 운영을 시작했다고 밝혔다.
◆ 카톡 안에서 챗GPT 모든 기능 이용 가능
카카오톡에 새로 생긴 챗GPT 버튼을 누르면 가을 날씨에 어울리는 음악 추천을 받아 바로 들을 수 있다. 출산한 친구를 위한 선물도 추천받아 즉시 선물할 수 있다.
챗GPT는 카카오맵, 카카오톡 선물하기 등 기존 카카오 서비스와 연결돼 지도 검색, 전시회 예약 등을 한 번에 처리한다.
챗GPT가 만든 이미지를 친구와 공유하거나 대화 중 궁금한 점을 바로 질문할 수 있다. 오픈AI의 챗GPT 서비스를 카카오톡에서 그대로 이용할 수 있는 것이다.
◆ '카나나'는 먼저 말 걸어오는 AI 비서
카카오가 자체 개발한 AI 비서 '카나나'도 시범 운영에 들어갔다.
카나나는 사용자가 친구와 주고받는 대화 내용을 바탕으로 회식 장소나 부모님 선물을 추천하는 등 사용자에게 먼저 말을 건다.
◆ 이커머스·검색 기능 강화 효과
카카오 AI에이전트플랫폼 유용하 성과리더는 "전 국민에게 서비스가 제공됨에 있어서 전문적으로 업무용으로 필요하지 않았던 분들도 일상생활에서 더 풍부한 정보를 찾을 수 있게 된다"고 말했다.
◆ 친구목록 바로보기는 올해 안 업데이트
카카오는 대규모 개편 과정에서 불편을 샀던 친구목록 바로보기 기능을 올해 안에 업데이트하겠다고 밝혔다.
카카오는 챗GPT와의 협업으로 '일상 속의 AI' 시대를 앞당기고 있다.

Kakao announced that it has introduced OpenAI's ChatGPT into KakaoTalk and started trial operation of its self-developed AI assistant 'Kanana'.
All ChatGPT Functions Available Within KakaoTalk
Users can press the newly added ChatGPT button on KakaoTalk to receive music recommendations for autumn weather and listen immediately. They can also get gift recommendations for friends who gave birth and send gifts instantly.
ChatGPT connects with existing Kakao services such as KakaoMap and KakaoTalk Gift, handling map searches and exhibition bookings all at once.
Users can share images created by ChatGPT with friends or ask questions immediately during conversations. OpenAI's ChatGPT service is fully available on KakaoTalk.
'Kanana' is an AI Assistant That Speaks First
Kakao's self-developed AI assistant 'Kanana' has also entered trial operation.
Kanana initiates conversations with users, recommending company dinner locations or parent gifts based on conversation content with friends.
E-commerce and Search Function Enhancement Effects
Yu Yong-ha, Performance Leader of Kakao AI Agent Platform, said, "As the service is provided to all citizens, even those who did not need it professionally for work can find richer information in daily life."
Professor Seo Yong-gu of Sookmyung Women's University Business School analyzed, "It can not only expand messenger functions and stay time but also strengthen e-commerce and search functions."
Friends List Quick View to Be Updated This Year
Kakao announced that it will update the friends list quick view function, which caused inconvenience during large-scale reorganization, within this year.
Kakao is accelerating the era of 'AI in daily life' through collaboration with ChatGPT.
