충주시는 11월 5일 오후 7시 충주시청 3층 대회의실에서 숭실사이버대학교 이호선 교수를 초청해 '21세기 빛나는 가족으로 사는 비결'을 주제로 충주아카데미를 개최한다.
가족상담·노년심리 분야 권위자
이호선 교수는 숭실사이버대학교 기독교상담복지학과 교수이자 가족상담 및 노년심리 분야의 권위자다. KBS <아침마당>, MBC <기분좋은 날>, JTBC <이혼숙려캠프:새로고침> 등 주요 방송 프로그램에서 인간관계와 가족문제에 관한 조언을 전달하며 국민 심리 멘토로 자리매김했다. ｢마흔의 기술｣, ｢이호선의 나이 들수록｣ 등 다수의 저서를 통해 현대사회에서 관계의 회복과 행복한 소통의 중요성을 전하고 있다.
세대 간 공감과 존중 회복 방법 제시
이날 특강에서는 급변하는 사회 속에서 가족 간의 관계를 건강하게 유지하고, 세대 간의 공감과 존중을 회복하는 방법을 다룰 예정이다. 시 관계자는 "이호선 교수의 강연은 시민들이 가족의 의미를 다시 돌아보고, 일상 속에서 행복을 실천할 수 있는 계기가 될 것"이라며 "많은 시민들의 관심과 참여를 바란다"고 밝혔다. 아카데미는 오후 6시부터 선착순 무료입장으로 진행하며, 시민 누구나 자유롭게 참여할 수 있다.

Professor Lee Ho-seon is a professor in the Department of Christian Counseling and Welfare at Soongsil Cyber University and an authority in family counseling and geriatric psychology. She has established herself as a national psychological mentor by delivering warm and realistic advice on human relationships and family issues on major broadcast programs such as KBS <Morning Yard>, MBC <Good Day>, and JTBC <Divorce Deliberation Camp: Refresh>. She continues to convey the importance of relationship recovery and happy communication in modern society through numerous books such as ｢The Art of Forty｣ and ｢Lee Ho-seon's As We Age｣.
Presenting Methods to Restore Intergenerational Empathy and Respect
The special lecture will address methods to maintain healthy family relationships and restore intergenerational empathy and respect in a rapidly changing society. A city official said, "Professor Lee Ho-seon's lecture will be an opportunity for citizens to reflect on the meaning of family and practice happiness in daily life," adding, "We hope for much interest and participation from citizens." The academy will proceed with free admission on a first-come, first-served basis from 6 PM, and any citizen can freely participate.
