충남교육청(교육감 김지철)은 심리·건강·환경 등 복합적 어려움을 겪는 학습지원대상학생을 지원하기 위해 '두드림학교 운영교 상담'을 진행하고 있다고 28일 밝혔다.
운영 사례 공유·발전 방향 모색
이번 상담은 단위학교 사업선택제로 두드림학교 운영을 신청한 도내 고등학교와 각종학교 50교를 대상으로 진행됐다. 3회에 걸친 그룹형 대면 상담으로 운영됐으며, 3차 상담은 10월 27일 충청남도교육청교육과정평가정보원에서 열렸다. 각 학교의 운영 사례를 공유하고, 두드림학교의 발전 방향을 함께 모색하는 자리였다. 학교별 운영 성과와 문제점을 점검하고 개선방안을 논의했다. 두드림학교는 기초학력 부진학생들의 꿈과 끼를 실현할 수 있는 여건을 조성하기 위한 학교로, 학생들의 닫힌 마음을 '두드려' 활짝 열게 한다는 의미를 담고 있다. 심리, 건강, 환경 등 복합 요인에 대한 맞춤형 통합 지원체제를 구축하고 있으며, 유형별·과학적 진단을 통한 맞춤형 지원으로 기초학력 부진을 극복하도록 돕고 있다.
2026학년도 전체 고교 확대 운영
현재 충남 도내 초중고 50교에서 두드림학교가 운영되고 있다. 충남교육청은 이번 상담을 계기로 두드림학교 운영사례를 바탕으로 한 현장 중심의 지원체제 강화에 나설 계획이다. 2026학년도에는 모든 고등학교와 각종학교로 두드림학교를 확대 운영하여, 기초학력 향상을 위한 촘촘한 개별맞춤형 학습지원 체계를 마련할 방침이다. 김지철 교육감은 "기초학력은 학생이 주도성을 가지고 학교생활에 참여할 힘을 키워주는 가장 근본적인 교육권이다"라며 "개별 맞춤형 학습지원 방안을 강화해 만성적인 학습 저해 요인을 극복하고, 행복한 학생 중심 충남교육이 활짝 꽃필 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다"고 밝혔다.

School-specific operation results and problems were reviewed and improvement measures were discussed. Dudeurim School is a school designed to create conditions for students with basic academic difficulties to realize their dreams and talents, containing the meaning of 'knocking' to open students' closed hearts wide. A customized integrated support system for complex factors such as psychology, health, and environment is being established, helping to overcome basic academic difficulties through type-specific and scientific diagnosis-based customized support.
Expanded Operation to All High Schools in 2026 Academic Year
Currently, Dudeurim School is operating in 50 elementary, middle, and high schools in Chungnam Province. The Chungnam Office of Education plans to strengthen field-centered support systems based on Dudeurim School operation cases following this consultation. In the 2026 academic year, Dudeurim School will be expanded to all high schools and various schools to establish a detailed individualized learning support system for improving basic academic ability. Superintendent Kim Ji-cheol said, "Basic academic ability is the most fundamental educational right that strengthens students' power to participate in school life with initiative," adding, "We will actively support students by strengthening individualized learning support measures to overcome chronic learning obstacles and allow happy student-centered Chungnam education to flourish."
