◆ 17일 마을회관 방문...댄스 공연·추석 선물 전달
용화초등학교(교장 하광호)는 17일 유치원 원아와 전교생이 참여한 가운데 '가을맞이 용화 아해 한마당' 행사를 성황리에 개최했다. 이번 행사는 학부모와 교직원은 물론 용화리 마을 주민이 함께해 지역공동체가 어우러진 뜻깊은 축제로 꾸며졌다. 행사는 용화리 마을회관 방문으로 문을 열었다. 학교 동아리 '꿈꾸는 아이들'은 그간 준비한 댄스 공연을 통해 마을 어르신들에게 따뜻한 감동을 선사했고, 정성스럽게 마련한 추석 선물을 직접 전달하며 이웃과 나눔의 의미를 되새겼다.
◆ 전통놀이·감따기 체험..."하나하나 소중한 별이 되어라"
학교로 돌아온 학생들은 운동장에서 재기차기, 굴렁쇠 굴리기, 비석치기 등 전통 놀이를 체험하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈다. 아이들은 놀이를 통해 협력과 배려를 배우며 우리 문화를 직접 경험하는 소중한 시간을 가졌다. 이어지는 감따기 체험에서는 가을 수확의 기쁨을 함께 나누며 자연과 계절의 소중함을 느꼈다. 이번 행사에서는 인구소멸지역에서 더욱 빛나는 아이들의 존재를 기념하며 "하나하나 소중한 별이 되어라"라는 주제로 축복의 시간이 마련되었다. 함께 생일을 축하하고 학교 벽면에 꿈과 희망을 담은 벽화 그리기 활동도 진행돼 의미를 더했다.
◆ '용화 아해마루' 1호점 개소...하광호 교장 "아이들이 마을의 보배"
행사의 마지막 순서로는 다문화 및 이주 가정을 위한 공간인 '용화 아해마루' 1호점 개소식이 열렸다. 학교와 지역사회의 협력으로 조성된 이 공간은 이주 가정 아동의 안정적인 성장과 교육을 지원하는 실질적인 거점이 될 전망이다. 하광호 교장은 "아이 한 명, 한 명이 마을의 보배이고 지역의 미래"라며 "오늘의 행사가 아이들에게 따뜻한 기억으로 남고, 지역과 함께 성장하는 기반이 되길 바란다"고 밝혔다.

As the last order of the event, the opening ceremony of 'Yonghwa Ahaemaru' Store No. 1, a space for multicultural and immigrant families, was held. This space, created through cooperation between the school and the local community, is expected to become a practical base to support the stable growth and education of immigrant family children. Principal Ha Gwang-ho said, "Each child is a treasure of the village and the future of the region," and "I hope today's event remains as a warm memory for the children and becomes a basis for growing together with the region."
