세종특별자치시교육청은 14일부터 17일까지 국립세종수목원에서 '2025년 중대재해 예방 담당자 역량강화 연수'를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

본청·직속기관·각급학교 담당자 158명 참여

연수 대상은 본청, 직속기관, 각급학교의 중대재해 예방 업무 담당자 158명이다.

이번 연수는 중대재해처벌법 관련 전문 강의를 통해 담당자들의 법적 소양을 제고하고 중대재해 예방 대응 역량을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.

주요 내용은 중대재해처벌법의 소개, 각 기관에서 이행해야 할 법적의무이행 사항 안내, 중대재해 사고 사례와 예방 대책 등으로 구성된다.

교육기관 안전관리 의무 강화

중대재해처벌법 시행 이후 교육기관에서도 안전관리 의무가 한층 강화됐다.

이번 연수는 실질적인 재해 예방 활동 강화를 위한 중요한 계기가 될 것으로 기대된다.

이현재 학교안전과장은 "이번 연수를 통해 각 기관의 담당자들이 중대재해 예방의 중요성을 인식하는 기회가 되길 바란다"고 말했다.

그는 "앞으로도 중대재해 없는 안전한 교육현장 조성을 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠다"고 덧붙였다.
