충남 예산군은 올해 긴급복지지원사업을 확대 시행해 생계 유지에 곤란을 겪는 가구를 돕는다고 13일 밝혔다.
지침 개정에 따라 지원 금액이 인상되고 위기사유 인정 범위가 넓어지면서 복지 사각지대에 놓인 위기가구에 대한 실질적 지원이 한층 강화될 전망이다. 생계지원금은 1인 가구 기준 월 78만3000원으로 전년 대비 약 7.2% 인상됐다.
4인 가구 지원금은 월 199만4000원으로 상향됐다. 금융재산 기준도 완화돼 1인 가구 856만4000원 이하, 4인 가구 1249만4000원 이하로 조정됐다. 위기사유 인정 기준은 기존 단전된 경우에서 소득 상실 또는 현저한 감소로 인해 단전된 경우로 변경됐다.
자살 시도자와 유가족 등 자살 고위험군이 생계 곤란을 겪는 경우 관련 기관 추천을 통해 지원받을 수 있도록 요건도 강화했다.

Yesan County in South Chungcheong Province announced on January 13 that it will expand its emergency welfare support program this year to help households struggling to maintain their livelihoods.
With revised guidelines increasing support amounts and expanding the scope of recognized crisis situations, substantial support for at-risk households in welfare blind spots is expected to strengthen. The living allowance for single-person households increased approximately 7.2% year-on-year to 783,000 won per month.
Support for four-person households rose to 1,994,000 won monthly. Financial asset criteria were also relaxed to 8,564,000 won or less for single-person households and 12,494,000 won or less for four-person households. Crisis recognition criteria changed from simply having electricity cut off to cases where electricity was cut due to income loss or significant reduction. Requirements were also strengthened so that high-risk suicide groups including suicide attempt survivors and bereaved families experiencing financial hardship can receive support through referrals from relevant agencies.
