참석자들은 국민권익위원회 청렴도 평가에서 2년 연속 상위등급을 달성한 성과에 격려를 전했다. 한 의정모니터위원은 "현장 문제의식과 제안을 의원들과 직접 공유하며 해법을 논의할 수 있어 의미가 컸다"며 "군민 의견이 의정에 정확히 전달될 수 있도록 역할을 수행하겠다"고 밝혔다.

김기준 의장은 "의정모니터위원 제안은 군민 삶을 비추는 현장 의견"이라며 "제시된 사항을 검토해 의정 운영과 정책 논의 과정에 반영하겠다"고 말했다. 청양군의회는 의정모니터위원과 정기 간담회를 이어가며 군민 참여 기반 의정을 추진할 방침이다.

The meeting proceeded with sharing legislative activity status, reviewing complaint handling results, and introducing the 2026 operation plan. Legislative monitoring committee members representing each town presented issues including daily inconveniences, institutional improvement tasks, and best practices gaining resident consensus.

Participants expressed encouragement regarding the achievement of a top-tier rating in the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission's integrity evaluation for two consecutive years. One legislative monitoring committee member stated, "It was meaningful to directly share field-level concerns and proposals with council members and discuss solutions," adding, "I will faithfully perform my role to ensure citizen opinions are accurately conveyed to the council."
