◆ 충남도, 32사단 위문금·위문품 전달

충남도는 1월 13일 육군 제32보병사단을 방문해 장병들을 위문했다. 박정주 행정부지사를 비롯한 방문단은 위문금과 위문품을 전달했다. 32사단은 충남·대전·세종 지역군사령부다.

◆ 수해복구 5000명 투입 감사

박정주 부지사는 "2024년 7월 집중호우 당시 장병 5000여 명이 현장에서 복구 작업을 했다"고 말했다. 장병들은 주택 정비, 농경지 정비, 토사 제거 작업을 수행했다. 박 부지사는 "도민의 일상 회복에 결정적인 역할을 했다"며 감사의 뜻을 전했다.

◆ 안보태세 유지·재난 협력 강화

방문단은 사단장 등 군 관계자들과 국가안보태세 확립과 지역 상생협력 방안을 논의했다. 박 부지사는 "32사단은 평시 비상대비태세를 유지하고 재난 발생 시 도민의 생명과 안전을 지킨다"고 말했다. 충남도는 군과의 협력을 강화하고 재난 대응과 안보 분야에서 협력 관계를 확대할 방침이다.

◆ Province Delivers Consolation Money and Gifts to 32nd Division

South Chungcheong Province visited the Army's 32nd Infantry Division on January 13 to console troops. A delegation led by Administrative Vice Governor Park Jung-joo delivered consolation money and gifts. The 32nd Division serves as the regional military command for South Chungcheong, Daejeon, and Sejong.

◆ Thanks for Deploying 5,000 Troops for Flood Recovery

Vice Governor Park Jung-joo stated, "During the heavy rainfall in July 2024, approximately 5,000 troops worked at recovery sites." The troops performed housing repairs, farmland restoration, and debris removal. Vice Governor Park expressed gratitude, saying, "They played a decisive role in restoring residents' daily lives."

◆ Maintaining Security Posture and Strengthening Disaster Cooperation

The delegation discussed establishing national security posture and regional cooperation measures with the division commander and other military officials. Vice Governor Park said, "The 32nd Division maintains emergency readiness during peacetime and protects residents' lives and safety during disasters." South Chungcheong Province plans to strengthen cooperation with the military and expand collaborative relationships in disaster response and security.
