◆ 3,260건 검사, 22건 부적합 판정

대전시 보건환경연구원이 2025년 농산물 3,260건을 검사한 결과, 잔류농약 기준을 초과한 22건(0.7%)을 적발했다. 부적합 농산물 총 372kg을 압류·폐기했다.

연구원은 노은·오정 도매시장 경매 농산물 2,808건과 전통시장, 대형마트, 로컬푸드 판매 농산물 452건을 검사했다. 부적합 판정을 받은 농산물은 즉시 식품의약품안전처 홈페이지에 공개했다. 도매시장 반입금지 등 행정조치를 완료했다.

◆ 상추·고춧잎 부적합 비율 높아

부적합 농산물은 상추 5건, 고춧잎 3건, 방풍나물 2건, 깻잎 2건 순으로 나타났다. 기준을 초과한 농약은 이미시아포스 3건, 포레이트 2건, 플루벤디아마이드 2건이었다.

◆ "물로 세척하면 잔류농약 대부분 제거"

정태영 대전시 보건환경연구원장은 "채소나 과일은 섭취 전 깨끗한 물로 씻으면 대부분의 잔류농약 성분이 제거된다"라며 "꼼꼼한 세척이 중요하다"라고 말했다. 정 원장은 "올해도 공영도매시장 농산물 안전성 검사를 철저히 수행하여 안전한 먹거리가 유통되도록 최선을 다하겠다"라고 밝혔다.

Health and Environment Research Institute Inspects 3,260 Cases…22 Cases Including Lettuce and Pepper Leaves Detected

◆ 3,260 Inspections, 22 Cases Found Non-Compliant

The Daejeon Health and Environment Research Institute inspected 3,260 agricultural products in 2025 and detected 22 cases (0.7%) exceeding pesticide residue standards. The institute seized and disposed of 372kg of non-compliant agricultural products.

The institute inspected 2,808 auctioned agricultural products from Noeun and Ojeong wholesale markets and 452 products sold at traditional markets, large supermarkets, and local food stores. The institute immediately disclosed the results on the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety website. The institute completed administrative measures including seizure, disposal, and market entry bans.

◆ High Non-Compliance Rate in Lettuce and Pepper Leaves

Non-compliant products included lettuce (5 cases), pepper leaves (3 cases), bangpung namul (2 cases), and perilla leaves (2 cases). Pesticides exceeding standards were imicyafos (3 cases), phorate (2 cases), and flubendiamide (2 cases).

◆ "Washing with Water Removes Most Pesticide Residues"

Jeong Tae-young, Director of the Daejeon Health and Environment Research Institute, stated, "Most pesticide residues on vegetables and fruits can be removed by washing thoroughly with clean water before consumption." He added, "Thorough washing is important." Director Jeong emphasized, "We will continue to conduct thorough safety inspections of agricultural products at public wholesale markets this year to ensure safe food distribution in the region."
