◆ 전국 1,000여 마라토너 제천 집결
제천시육상연맹이 주최하는 제18회 제천 의림지 삼한초록길 알몸마라톤대회가 11일 의림지와 삼한의 초록길 일원에서 열린다.
대회는 매년 전국에서 1,000여 명 이상이 참가하는 겨울철 대표 이색 스포츠 행사로 자리 잡았다. 제천의 매서운 추위를 온몸으로 이겨내는 독특한 콘셉트로 전국 마라토너들의 꾸준한 관심과 호응을 얻어왔다.
◆ 오전 11시 레이스 시작, 7km 구간 진행
대회는 11일 오전 9시부터 10시까지 참가자 집결을 시작으로 간단한 공연과 개회식 후 오전 11시경 레이스가 진행된다. 참가자들은 의림지-에코브릿지-그네공원을 반환하는 삼한의 초록길 산책코스 왕복 7km 구간을 달린다. 오후 12시 시상식 및 기념품 배부로 대회 일정이 종료된다.
참가자 전원에게는 기록증과 완주 메달이 제공되며 종목별 상패 및 부상과 함께 다양한 특별상도 수여될 예정이다.
◆ 겨울철 대표 이색 스포츠 행사로 정착
제천시육상연맹 윤주경 회장은 "제천 의림지와 삼한의 초록길을 배경으로 열리는 알몸마라톤대회가 겨울철 대표 이색 스포츠 행사로 자리매김하고 있다"며 "이번 제18회 알몸마라톤대회도 참가자들이 안전하고 즐겁게 대회를 마칠 수 있도록 운영에 만전을 기하겠다"고 밝혔다.
김창규 제천시장은 "2026년 병오년의 시작에 제천의 아름다운 자연을 온몸으로 느낄 수 있는 좋은 기회가 되시길 바란다"며 "앞으로도 다양한 스포츠 행사를 통해 제천이 사계절 스포츠 도시로 도약할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다"고 전했다.

The event has established itself as a representative winter sports event attracting over 1,000 marathoners from across the nation annually. The unique concept of enduring Jecheon's bitter cold with one's whole body has garnered consistent interest and positive response from marathoners nationwide.
◆ Race starts at 11 AM, 7km course
The event begins with participant assembly from 9 AM to 10 AM on the 11th, followed by a brief performance and opening ceremony before the race starts around 11 AM. Participants will run a round-trip 7km course on the Samhan Green Path walking trail, which circles from Uirimji to Eco Bridge to Geune Park. The event schedule concludes at 12 PM with an awards ceremony and souvenir distribution.
All participants will receive a record certificate and completion medal, with various special prizes awarded along with trophies and prizes for each category.

Jecheon Track and Field Federation Chairman Yoon Ju-kyung stated, "The Naked Marathon held against the backdrop of Jecheon's Uirimji and Samhan Green Path has established itself as a representative winter sports event," adding, "We will do our utmost to ensure that participants can safely and enjoyably complete this 18th Naked Marathon."
Jecheon Mayor Kim Chang-kyu said, "I hope this will be a good opportunity to feel Jecheon's beautiful nature with your whole body at the start of the year 2026, the year of Byeong-o," adding, "We will actively support Jecheon's leap forward as a four-season sports city through various sports events."
