◆ 지방의정봉사상 수상

홍종숙 증평군의회 의원이 1월 2일 대한민국시군자치구의회 의장협의회로부터 '대한민국지방의정봉사상'을 수상했다. 동상은 기초의회 발전과 지방자치 활성화에 공헌한 의원에게 수여하는 상으로, 지역사회 발전 공로를 평가하여 선정된다.

◆ 군민 중심 의정철학 실천

홍 의원은 "군민의 삶 속에서 답을 찾고, 작은 목소리에도 귀 기울인다"는 의정철학을 바탕으로 활동해왔다. 산림치유를 통한 군민 건강 증진, 고령화 시대 지역사회 돌봄, 사회적 고립 예방, 정신건강 안전망 구축 등에 집중했다.

Jeungpyeong County Council Member Hong Jong-sook received the "Republic of Korea Local Government Service Award" from the Association of Presidents of Metropolitan and Provincial Councils on January 2. The award is given to council members who contribute to the development of basic councils and the revitalization of local autonomy, and is selected by evaluating their achievements in community development.

Member Hong has worked based on the government philosophy of "finding answers in the lives of citizens and listening to small voices."
