◆ 의회 신년 결의식 개최

서산시의회(의장 조동식)가 2일 서산시의회 본회의장에서 2026년 시무식을 개최했다. 조동식 의장을 포함한 의원과 의회사무국 직원 30여명이 참석한 가운데 올해 본격적인 업무에 돌입했다. 시무식은 조동식 의장의 신년사를 시작으로 사진촬영과 의원 및 직원 간 새해 인사 순서로 진행됐다.

조동식 의장은 신년사에서 "제9대 시의회의 임기를 마무리하는 시기인 만큼 끝까지 초심을 잃지 않고, 시민의 작은 목소리에도 귀 기울여 세심한 의정활동을 펼치자"고 강조했다. 의장의 발언은 임기 말 의정 활동의 중요성을 부각하며 의회의 시민 중심 정책 추진 의지를 드러냈다.

◆ 제311회 임시회 시작, 본격 지역 현안 해결 추진

제9대 서산시의회는 '시민과 함께하는 따뜻한 서산시의회' 슬로건 아래 오는 1월 5일 제311회 임시회를 시작으로 지역 현안 해결을 위한 의정활동을 본격화할 예정이다.

The 9th Seosan City Council plans to launch full-scale legislative activities to address regional issues, beginning with the 311th Extraordinary Session scheduled for January 5, under the slogan "Warm Seosan City Council Together with Citizens."
