◆ 종무식 개최 및 주요 일정 마무리

서산시의회(의장 조동식)는 31일 서산시의회 본회의장에서 2025년 종무식을 개최하고 올해 공식 일정을 마무리했다. 조동식 의장과 의원들, 의회사무국 직원 등 40여 명이 참석한 가운데 개최된 종무식은 의정발전 유공자 시상, 송년사, 의원 회고사, 기념촬영 순으로 진행됐다.

◆ 의정발전 유공자 3명 시상

의정발전 유공자 시상에서는 의회사무국 최은숙 홍보팀장이 충청남도의회의장상을 수상했다. 조한흥 주무관과 황선희 주무관은 충청남도시군의장협의회장상을 각각 수상했다.

◆ 의장 송년사… "2026년 성숙한 의정 펼칠 것"

조동식 의장은 송년사에서 "2025년 한 해 의정활동을 최선으로 지원해준 의원들과 무사히 회기를 마친 의회사무국 직원들께 감사한다"고 했다. 조 의장은 이어 "2026년 새해에는 서산시 발전을 위해 더욱 성숙한 의정활동을 펼쳐 시민들께 신뢰받는 의회가 되도록 함께 노력하자"고 강조했다.

Seosan City Council (Chairperson Jo Dong-sik) held its 2025 year-end ceremony on December 31st at the main conference hall of Seosan City Council and concluded its official schedule for the year. The ceremony, attended by Chairperson Jo Dong-sik, council members, and approximately 40 staff members of the council secretariat, proceeded in the following order: commendation awards for contributions to council development, year-end address, council member recollection remarks, and commemorative photography.

◆ Three Officials Receive Commendations for Council Development Contributions

At the commendation ceremony, Choi Eun-sook, head of the Public Relations Team at the Council Secretariat, received the Chungcheongnam-do Council Chairperson Award. Jo Han-heung and Hwang Sun-hee, both staff members, each received the Chungcheongnam-do City and County Council Chairperson Association Award.

◆ Chairperson Jo's Year-End Address: "Pursuing Mature Council Activities in 2026"

Chairperson Jo Dong-sik stated in his year-end address, "I thank all council members who dedicated themselves to council activities for Seosan citizens in 2025 and staff of the council secretariat who worked to ensure all sessions concluded successfully." He continued, "In the new year of 2026, we will pursue more mature council activities for the development of Seosan City and work together to become a council trusted by our citizens."
