◆ 행사 개요 및 운영 철학

충청남도 태안군 태안여자중학교(교장 윤여정)가 2024년 12월 30일 교내 강당 목련관에서 전교생이 참석한 가운데 2025 꿈이룸 발표회 '꿈다방'을 개최했다. 꿈다방은 '꿈을 다듬고 방향을 잡는 시간'의 약자다. 이 행사는 중학교 생활을 마무리하고 고등학교 입학을 앞둔 3학년 학생들이 진로 탐색 과정을 공유하고 전교생이 함께 미래를 설계하도록 기획됐다. 학교는 학기 말 자기계발 시기를 활용해 학생들의 능동적인 미래 결정 역량 강화에 초점을 맞췄다.

◆ 학생 발표와 교과 연계 산출물 전시

발표에 나선 3학년 학생 4명은 각각의 진로 탐색 사례를 발표했다. 발표 주제는 △'나의 로드맵'(이○아) △'유학 도전기'(김○아) △'평범한 학생의 조금 특별한 도전'(황○서) △'슬기로운 학교생활'(윤○진) 등 실전 경험 중심으로 구성됐다. 학생들의 진솔한 발표는 전교생으로부터 공감을 얻었다. 행사장에는 학기 말 고사 이후 각 교과에서 진행한 진로 교육 산출물을 전시했다. 과학 시간의 '미래 직업 그리기', 도덕 시간의 '비전 보드 만들기', 국어 시간의 '자유 주제 탐구 보고서' 등이 공개돼 전교생이 진로 정보를 공유하는 축제의 장이 됐다.

◆ 학생 반응과 학교의 향후 계획

2학년 학생은 "선배들이 직접 겪은 생생한 도전기를 들으니 막연했던 학교생활과 미래에 대해 구체적으로 생각하게 됐고 나만의 로드맵을 그려보고 싶다는 동기부여가 됐다"고 말했다. 윤여정 교장은 "학생들이 자신의 꿈을 상상하는 것에 그치지 않고 구체적으로 다듬고 방향을 설정하는 시간이 되기를 바란다"며 "앞으로 학생들이 자기 주도적으로 진로를 개척하도록 다양한 프로그램으로 성장을 지원하겠다"고 밝혔다.

Taean Girls' Middle School in Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do (Principal Yun Yeo-jeong) held the 2025 Dream Achievement Presentation 'Dream Cafe' on December 30, 2024 in the school's auditorium Magnolia Hall with all students in attendance. 'Dream Cafe' stands for 'a time to refine dreams and set direction.' The event was designed for third-year students completing middle school and beginning high school to share their career exploration processes and allow all students to design their futures together. The school emphasized strengthening students' proactive future decision-making capabilities by utilizing the self-development period at the end of the semester.

◆ Student Presentations and Subject-Linked Educational Outputs

Four third-year students gave presentations on their respective career exploration cases. Presentation topics included △'My Roadmap' (Lee ○A) △'Studying Abroad Challenge' (Kim ○A) △'Ordinary Student's Slightly Special Challenge' (Hwang ○S) △'Wise School Life' (Yun ○J), structured around practical experience. Students' sincere presentations earned empathy from all attendees. The event venue displayed career education outputs conducted in each subject after final exams. Science class's 'Drawing Future Occupations,' moral class's 'Creating Vision Boards,' and Korean language class's 'Free-Topic Research Reports' were displayed, becoming a festival space where all students shared career information.

A second-year student said, "Hearing seniors' firsthand challenge stories made me think concretely about my school life and future, which was vague before, and became motivation to draw my own roadmap." Principal Yun Yeo-jeong stated, "I hope this becomes a time for students to not merely imagine their dreams but to refine them specifically and set direction," and added, "Going forward, the school will support student growth through various programs so students can independently pioneer their careers."
