◆ 제주-히로시마 첫 운항 성공
에어로케이항공(대표 강병호)이 2025년 12월 31일 제주국제공항에서 일본 히로시마공항으로 가는 부정기 국제선을 성공적으로 개시했다. 에어로케이항공이 제주를 출발지로 한 국제선을 운영하기는 이번이 처음이다. 오전 8시 10분 제주발 항공편은 약 1시간 비행 후 히로시마에 정시 도착했다. 오전 10시 20분 히로시마 발 제주행 항공편도 정오에 제주에 도착하며 예정된 일정을 모두 완료했다.

히로시마발 제주행 첫 항공편 탑승률이 80% 이상을 기록했다. 에어로케이항공은 지난 3개월간 히로시마 지역 여행사들과 협력하며 현지 수요를 발굴한 결과다. 에어로케이항공은 현재 청주-히로시마 정기 노선을 주 4회 운영 중이며, 일본 지역에서 안정적인 항공 네트워크를 구축했다.
◆ 정기편 전환 추진...지역 국제 항공 수요 확대
에어로케이항공은 2025년 12월 31일과 2026년 1월 2일 두 차례 부정기편 운영을 거쳐 향후 정기편으로 전환할 계획이다. 회사 관계자는 "제주 취항을 기반으로 일본 및 기타 지역으로 노선을 지속 확대하겠다"며 "지역과 연계한 국제 항공 수요 창출에 기여하겠다"고 밝혔다.
