신창중학교(교장 백재흠)가 29일 오후 강당에서 1학년 이주 배경 학생 68명을 대상으로 맞춤형 진로비전 특강을 진행했다. 중앙아시아 배경 학생들의 문화적 배경과 성장 환경을 고려한 진로 설계 지원을 목적으로 마련했다. 러시아어 소통이 가능한 리더십 교육 전문가가 초청돼 학생들이 언어적 부담 없이 미래를 탐색할 수 있도록 구성했다. 특강은 5교시(문화친화적 아이스브레이킹, 자기관리 및 셀프리더십 개념 이해)와 6교시(진로탐색, SMART 목표설정, 로드맵 설계)로 나뉘어 진행됐다.

백재흠 교장은 "이주 배경 학생들이 자신의 문화적 강점을 자산으로 삼아 한국 사회에서 미래를 주도적으로 설계할 수 있도록 돕는 데 의미가 있다"며 "출발선은 다르지만 맞춤형 지원으로 모두가 자신의 꿈을 향해 나아갈 수 있도록 하겠다"고 말했다. 신창중학교는 이주 배경 학생의 특성과 요구를 반영한 진로·리더십 프로그램을 지속 운영하며 학생들이 자신감을 가지고 미래를 설계할 수 있는 교육 환경 조성을 추진할 계획이다.

Shinchang Middle School plans to continue operating career and leadership programs reflecting the characteristics and needs of immigrant background students and create an educational environment where students can design their future with confidence.
