◆ 진천군 도로망 확대 추진 현황

농어촌도로 5개 노선 중 상계리 302호선 확포장공사(0.25km, 4억5천만원)와 문백면 204호선 선형개량공사(0.17km, 3억원)는 2026년 6월 준공 목표다. 대명동 농어촌도로(1.4km, 30억원)는 실시설계 진행 중으로 2026년 착공, 2027년 12월 준공을 목표한다. 도시계획도로는 덕산읍과 혁신도시 연결도로(18억원)가 2026년 준공을 앞두고 있으며, 진천읍 도로(2-50호선, 2억원)는 올해 12월 준공 예정이다. 문백면과 백곡면 도시계획도로는 이미 6월 준공 완료했다.
◆ 국도 개선사업 가속화…국토부 5개년 계획 반영
천안시와 진천군을 연결하는 국도 34호선과 국도 21호선 공사가 진행 중이며, 국도 21호선 위험도로 개선공사와 회전교차로 설치공사는 완료했다. 교성리 단구간 확장공사(국도 21호선)는 2026년 상반기 준공 목표다. 국토교통부 제6차 국도·국지도 5개년 도로건설계획(20262030)에 진천읍 건송리 2차로 개량사업(국도 21호선, 0.8km, 268억원)과 덕산읍금왕읍 6차로 확장사업(국도 21호선, 11.7km, 1천945억원)이 기획재정부 예타사업으로 반영됐다.

Mun-Baek-Myeon and Baek-Gok-Myeon urban roads completed in June.

National Route 34 and Route 21 connecting Cheon-An and Jin-Cheon advance construction. National Route 21 hazardous road improvements and roundabout installations completed. Gyeo-Seong-Ri single-section expansion (National Route 21) targets first half 2026 completion. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's sixth five-year national road plan (2026-2030) reflects Jin-Cheon-Eup Gun-Song-Ri two-lane improvement (National Route 21, 0.8km, 26.8 billion won) and Deok-San-Eup to Geum-Wang-Eup six-lane expansion (National Route 21, 11.7km, 194.5 billion won) as pre-feasibility projects.
