규암초등학교병설유치원(원장 송운석)은 12월 1일부터 14일까지 '우리 가족 서점 가는 날' 행사를 운영했다. 이 행사는 유아와 학부모가 부여 지역 서점을 방문해 책을 직접 선택하도록 하는 프로그램이다.

◆ 가족과 함께하는 책 선택 경험

유아들은 학부모와 서점을 방문해 다양한 책을 살펴본 뒤 읽고 싶은 책 1권을 선택했다. 선택한 책에 자신의 이름을 적는 방식으로 진행됐다. 이는 '책 읽는 유아, 책 읽는 부모, 책 읽는 유치원' 프로젝트의 일환으로 기획됐다.

◆ 학부모 반응과 원장 의견

참여 학부모는 "아이가 스스로 책을 고르며 함께 대화하는 시간이 의미 있었다"고 했다. 송운석 원장은 "가정에서의 독서 활동은 유아에게 자연스러운 책 읽기 경험을 제공한다"며 "이번 행사를 통해 아이들이 책과 더 가까워지기를 바란다"고 말했다.

◆ 향후 계획

규암초등학교병설유치원은 앞으로도 가정과 유치원이 협력하는 다양한 독서 프로그램을 운영할 예정이다. 생활 속에서 책 읽는 문화를 실천하는 데 중점을 두기로 했다.

Gyuam Elementary School Affiliated Kindergarten (Principal Song Un-seok) operated the 'Our Family Bookstore Day' program from December 1 to 14. This program allowed young children and parents to visit bookstores in the Buyeo area and personally select books.

◆ Book selection experience with family

Young children visited bookstores with parents, examined various books, and selected one book to read. Children wrote their names in the selected books. The program was designed as part of the 'Children Reading Books, Parents Reading Books, Kindergarten Reading Books' project.

◆ Parent feedback and principal's view

Participating parents said, "The time we spent together while my child selected books on their own and had conversations was meaningful." Principal Song Un-seok stated, "Reading activities at home provide children with a natural book-reading experience. I hope this event brings children closer to books," he said.

◆ Future plans

Gyuam Elementary School Affiliated Kindergarten plans to operate various reading programs in cooperation with families and the kindergarten. It will focus on practicing reading culture in daily life.
