관기초등학교(교장 김홍석) 전교생 1학년부터 6학년까지 18~19일 강원도 원주 오크밸리 스키장에서 1박 2일 스키캠프를 실시했다. 올해는 학년별 분산 운영에서 벗어나 전교생이 함께하는 통합 캠프로 확대 운영해 모든 학생에게 균등한 겨울 스포츠 체험 기회를 제공했다.

학생들은 사전 안전교육을 수료한 후 수준별 스키 강습에 참여했다. 전문 강사 지도로 자신의 실력에 맞는 슬로프에서 안전하게 스키를 경험했다. 저녁에는 리조트 수영장에서 물놀이 활동을 진행해 다양한 신체활동 기회를 제공했다.

3학년 하준찬 학생은 "처음에는 스키가 두려웠지만 선생님의 친절한 지도로 재미있게 탈 수 있었고, 반복 경험으로 혼자 내려올 수 있어 자신감이 생겼다"고 소감을 전했다. 관기초등학교는 학생의 신체 발달과 도전정신 함양을 위해 체험 중심 스포츠 교육활동을 지속적으로 추진할 방침이다.

Gwangi Elementary School (Principal Kim Hong-seok) held a one-night, two-day ski camp from December 18-19 at Oak Valley Ski Resort in Wonju, Gangwon Province, with all students from grades 1 through 6 in attendance. The school expanded this year's program from a grade-divided structure to an integrated campus, providing equal winter sports experience opportunities for all students.

◆ Program Operation

Students completed preliminary safety training before participating in level-based ski lessons. Under the guidance of professional instructors, students safely experienced skiing on slopes matched to their individual skill levels. In the evening, swimming activities were conducted at the resort's swimming pool, providing opportunities for various physical activities.

Third-grader Ha Jun-chan shared his experience, saying: "Skiing was intimidating at first, but with my teacher's kind instruction, I enjoyed it, and through repeated experience, I gained confidence in descending alone."
