◆ 12월 9∼11일 3개 과정 졸업식 연이어 개최

대한노인회 옥천군지회(회장 유동빈)가 운영하는 노인대학이 12월 9∼11일 3개 과정 졸업식을 개최했다. 9일 동이면, 10일 지회 제11기 노인대학, 11일 청성면에서 진행됐다. 찾아가는 노인대학은 생활권에서 교육받는 분회형 프로그램으로, 동이면과 청성면 과정에서 총 87명이 졸업했다.

◆ 3월 개강 후 9개월간 건강·교양·시사 교육 운영

노인대학은 3월부터 9개월간 건강관리, 교양, 시사 이해, 현장학습을 진행했다. 동이면 박진하 어르신(91세)과 청성면 박태순 어르신(90세)이 최고령 졸업생으로 참여했다. 옥천군 관계자는 "어르신들이 일상 속 활력을 되찾고 상호 교류했다"고 밝혔다.

◆ 졸업생 100만원 기탁, 내년 프로그램 군서면·안내면 확대

옥천 노인대학 11기 졸업생들은 100만원을 모아 관내 저소득 노인계층에 기탁했다. 기탁금은 충북사회복지공동모금회를 통해 전달될 예정이다. 옥천군은 2026년 프로그램을 군서면과 안내면까지 확대할 계획이다.

The Korea Senior Association Okcheon County Branch (Chairman Yoo Dong-bin) held three senior university graduation ceremonies from December 9∼11. Sessions took place in Dong-i-myeon on the 9th, the 11th session of the county branch on the 10th, and Cheongseong-myeon on the 11th. The Visiting Senior University is a branch-type program enabling seniors to receive education within their residential areas. A total of 87 seniors graduated from the Dong-i-myeon and Cheongseong-myeon programs.

◆ Nine-month curriculum covering health, liberal arts, and current affairs conducted since March opening

The senior university operated health management, liberal arts, current affairs education, and field learning programs for nine months starting in March. Park Jin-ha (91 years old) from Dong-i-myeon and Park Tae-soon (90 years old) from Cheongseong-myeon participated as the oldest graduates. An Okcheon County official stated, "The seniors found vitality in their daily lives and engaged in mutual exchange."

◆ 10 Million Won donation by graduates; program expansion to Gunso-myeon and Annae-myeon planned for 2026

The 11th batch of Okcheon Senior University graduates collected and donated 10 million won to low-income elderly residents in the county. The donation will be transferred through the Chungbuk Community Chest of Korea. Okcheon County plans to expand the program to Gunso-myeon and Annae-myeon in 2026.
