◆ 339억8600만원 외부재원 확보

충남 서산시는 2026년 하수도 분야 국·도비 339억8600만원을 확보했다. 시 사업은 총 10개로 계속사업 8개와 신규사업 2개로 구성된다. 서산시는 이 예산으로 도시침수 대응과 농어촌 마을하수도 정비, 시민 안전시설 구축에 집중 투자한다.

◆ 도시침수 대응에 37억 집중

서산배수분구 도시침수 대응사업은 국·도비 37억4900만원이 반영된다. 서산시는 동 지역 하수관로 7.9㎞와 빗물받이 402개소를 정비하고 배수펌프장 1개소를 신설한다. 해당 사업은 지난 8월 착공했으며 2028년 준공을 목표로 추진 중이다. 이 외에도 계속사업으로 농어촌 마을하수도 정비사업과 4·5차 하수관로 정비사업을 병행 추진한다.

◆ 농어촌·맨홀 안전에 신규투자

서산시는 내년부터 신규사업 2개를 본격 추진한다. 화곡 농어촌마을 하수도 정비사업은 총 53억원을 투입해 대산읍 화곡리 일원에 오수관 3.792㎞와 맨홀펌프장 4개소를 신설한다. 맨홀 추락방지 시설 설치사업은 관내 콘크리트 맨홀 784개소에 추락방지 시설을 설치해 낙상 등 시민의 안전사고를 예방한다. 홍건표 서산시 상하수도과장은 "하수도시설 안정적 운영과 유지관리에 철저해 시민의 생활환경 개선 및 안전한 정주환경 조성에 최선을 다하겠다"라고 말했다.

The Seosan Distribution Zone urban flood mitigation project allocates 3.749 billion won in national and provincial funds. Seosan City will maintain 7.9 kilometers of sewerage pipes and 402 storm drain inlets in the eastern district while installing one drainage pump station. The project commenced in August and targets completion by 2028. The city simultaneously pursues ongoing projects including rural village sewerage maintenance and 4th and 5th phase sewerage pipe improvements.

◆ New Investment in Rural Areas and Manhole Safety

Seosan City launches two new projects beginning next year. The Hwagok Rural Village Sewerage Maintenance Project invests 5.3 billion won to install 3.792 kilometers of wastewater pipes and four manhole pump stations in the Hwagok-ri area, Daesan-eup. The Manhole Fall Prevention Facility Installation Project installs fall prevention equipment at 784 concrete manholes citywide to prevent citizen accidents such as falls. Hong Geon-pyo, director of Seosan City's Water and Sewerage Department, stated: "We will ensure stable operation and maintenance of sewerage facilities and focus our efforts on improving citizens' living environments and creating safe residential communities."
