◆정책토론회 개최, 시민목소리 수렴

대전시의회 산업건설위원회 김영삼 의원(국민의힘, 서구2)이 10일 대전시의회 소통실에서 「시민과 함께 만드는 출산양육친화도시 대전 정책토론회」를 주재했다. 영아대상 현금급여 변화와 대전형 양육기본수당 효과 분석부터 시작한 이번 토론회는 시민경험과 정책현장의 의견을 함께 나누는 구조로 진행됐다. 대전연구원 양성욱 책임연구위원은 주제발표에서 지속적인 정책효과 검증을 통해 지급대상과 연령별 형평성을 고려한 정책추진이 필요함을 강조했다.

Councilman Kim Young-sam stated, "The low birth rate problem is not an individual issue but a result created by the structure of the entire city." He emphasized, "While voices from youth preparing for childbirth, parents raising children, and childcare and business sectors show different realities, the significance of holding this forum is great in that it presents common tasks that Daejeon must shoulder together." He continued, "I hope today's discussion becomes an opportunity to materialize the grand vision of a pro-childbirth and childrearing Daejeon," and stated, "The council will actively cooperate to transform Daejeon into a city where children can be stably born and raised." In September, Councilman Kim sponsored the "Partial Amendment to the Daejeon Metropolitan City Ordinance on Promotion and Support of Family-Friendly Social Environment," which clarifies substantial preferential grounds for family-friendly companies in the ordinance. At the National Assembly Local Council Roundtable, he called for establishing the basis for reducing local taxes for pro-childbirth companies.
