◆ 감사패 수여의 배경

조동식 서산시의회 의장이 지난 9일 서산시문화회관에서 열린 '2025 서산시 자원봉사자의 날 기념행사'에서 (사)서산시자원봉사자센터(이사장 한도현)로부터 감사패를 받았다. 감사패는 조동식 의장이 자원봉사 활성화를 위해 지속적으로 관심 갖고 지원한 공로를 인정받아 수여되었다. 조동식 의장의 정책 지원으로 지역 자원봉사자 사기가 높아졌으며 지역사회 공헌 활동이 확대되었다.

◆ 의장의 의지 표현

조동식 의장은 "자원봉사자의 헌신과 노력으로 오늘의 서산시가 더욱 따뜻해졌다"고 말했다. 조동식 의장은 "앞으로도 자원봉사자와 함께 지역사회의 어려움을 해결하기 위해 적극 협력하겠다"고 덧붙였다.

◆ 행사의 의의

이날 행사는 (사)서산시자원봉사자센터 주최로 진행되었다. 행사의 목적은 한 해 동안 지역 곳곳에서 헌신한 자원봉사자들의 노고를 격려하고 성과를 공유하는 것이다. 자원봉사자의 날을 기념하기 위해 마련된 행사다.

The plaque was awarded in recognition of Chairman Cho's consistent attention and support for promoting volunteer activities. His policy backing elevated the morale of local volunteers and expanded community contribution activities throughout the region.

Cho Dong-sik stated, "The dedication and effort of volunteers has made Seosan City warmer today." Chairman Cho added, "Moving forward, I will actively cooperate with volunteers to address community challenges in our region."
