대전시의회 예산결산특별위원회(위원장 김선광)는 10일 제6차 회의를 열어 2025년도 제2회 대전광역시교육비특별회계 추가경정 예산안을 심사·의결했다. 교육감 제출 추가경정 예산안 총규모는 기정예산 대비 0.6% 감액된 2조 9060억 4596만 7천 원으로 결정됐다. 위원회 특별한 문제점 없음을 판단해 원안 가결했다.

정명국 의원은 출원도서 인정심사 수수료와 저소득층 현장학습비 등 예측 가능 사업에서 큰 폭의 감액이 발생한 점을 지적했다. "계획 수립 단계부터 철저한 조사와 분석을 통해 정확하게 예산 편성할 것"을 요구했다. 박주화 의원은 특수교육대상자 교과서 지원 및 기간제교사 맞춤형복지비 예산과 관련해 부정확한 예산 추계를 지적하고, "정확한 산출과 검증 절차 강화"를 촉구했다. 이병철 의원은 안전제고시설개선 사업과 관련해 "학생 안전과 직결되는 예산인 만큼 조기 집행"을 요구했다.
