교육위, 2026년도 도교육청 예산안 심사 비상벨 구축 사업 등 61억 1,896만 원 삭감

◆ 교육위원회 예산안 심사 완료

충북도의회 교육위원회가 2026년도 충청북도교육비특별회계 예산안 심사를 마쳤다. 교육위원회는 11월 27일부터 12월 2일까지 제3차~제6차 회의를 열었다. 이정범 위원장이 심사를 주재했다.

◆ 전년 대비 5.2% 감액 편성

충청북도교육청은 2026년 예산안을 3조 6,155억 4,353만 9,000원 규모로 제출했다. 전년도 예산 대비 1,964억 7,152만 원이 줄었다. 감소율은 5.2%다. 교육위원회는 사업 타당성이 부족하거나 효과가 불분명한 사업을 중심으로 예산을 조정했다.

◆ 13개 사업 61억 원 삭감

교육위원회는 총 13건의 사업 예산 61억 1,896만 원을 삭감했다. 주요 삭감 대상은 서원중학교 태권도 훈련장 증축 사업, 비상벨 구축 사업, 다채움 품질제고 사업 등이다. 예산안은 12월 4~5일 예산결산특별위원회 심사를 거친다. 12월 15일 제430회 정례회 제3차 본회의에서 최종 의결될 예정이다.

◆ Education Committee Completes Budget Review

The Chungbuk Provincial Council Education Committee completed its review of the 2026 Chungcheongbuk-do Education Special Account budget. The committee held its 3rd through 6th meetings from November 27 to December 2. Chairman Lee Jeong-beom presided over the review.

◆ Budget Decreased 5.2% from Previous Year

The Chungcheongbuk-do Office of Education submitted a 2026 budget proposal of 3.6155 trillion won. The amount decreased by 196.47 billion won from the previous year's budget. The reduction rate is 5.2%. The Education Committee adjusted budgets for projects lacking feasibility or showing unclear effectiveness.

◆ 6.1 Billion Won Cut from 13 Projects

The Education Committee cut 6.118 billion won from a total of 13 projects. Major cuts targeted Seowon Middle School taekwondo training facility expansion project, emergency bell system project, and Dachaeum quality improvement project. The budget proposal will undergo review by the Budget and Accounts Special Committee on December 4-5. Final approval is scheduled for the 3rd plenary session of the 430th regular assembly on December 15.
