◆ 건설환경소방위, 환경산림국 2026년 예산안 심사

충북도의회 건설환경소방위원회(위원장 이태훈)는 3일 제430회 정례회 제4차 회의를 열었다. 위원회는 환경산림국 소관 2026년도 예산안과 기금 운용계획안을 심사했다. 조례안 1건도 함께 검토했다. 위원회는 사업 타당성과 집행 효율성을 고려해 총 11억 2500만 원을 삭감했다.

임영은 의원(진천1)은 설우산 자연휴양림 조성사업 준비를 철저히 해달라고 요청했다. 노금식 의원(음성2)은 산림재난대응단 운영 시 유사 사업 간 인력 중복을 방지해달라고 당부했다. 김호경 의원(제천2)은 기후위기 대응에서 중복 홍보를 줄이고 성과 중심 사업관리 체계를 마련하라고 밝혔다. 박용규 의원(옥천2)은 야생동물 피해 예방사업 자부담 비율이 소규모·고령 농가에 부담이 된다며 실질적 지원을 강조했다.

◆ 위원장 "탄소중립 예산, 효율적 집행 당부"

황영호 의원(청주13)은 친환경 목조전망대 조성사업과 관련해 유사 사업이 흉물로 전락한 사례를 언급하며 면밀한 검토를 주문했다. 변종오 의원(청주11)은 슬레이트 처리 과정에서 비인증 업체 시공 문제가 전국적으로 제기된다며 관리·감독 강화를 요청했다. 이태훈 위원장(괴산)은 "환경 분야 예산은 재난 및 도로 예산을 합한 것보다 큰 규모"라며 "탄소중립과 환경을 위한 예산이 낭비 없이 효율적으로 쓰이도록 당부한다"고 말했다.

Chairman Lee Tae-hoon (Goesan) said, "The environmental sector budget is larger than disaster and road budgets combined," adding, "I urge that the budget for carbon neutrality and environment be used efficiently without waste."
