충북 괴산군이 동절기 한파로 인한 계량기 동파 및 수도관 동결 사고 예방에 나섰다. 괴산군은 12월 2일 수도사업소에서 동절기 대비 대행사업자 회의를 개최했다. 회의에는 상수도 관련 대행업체 관계자들이 참석했다. 참석자들은 신속한 긴급복구 체계 구축, 취약지역 점검 강화, 동파 예방 홍보 확대 등 대응 방안을 논의했다. 괴산군은 한파로 발생할 수 있는 단수 사고에 대비한 대응 방안을 점검했다.

◆ 상수도 비상근무 체계 가동

괴산군은 동절기 상수도 비상근무 체계를 유지한다. 야간 및 휴일에도 즉시 대응할 수 있는 상황관리 체계를 갖춘다. 괴산군은 상수도 안정 공급에 만전을 기할 방침이다. 신인섭 수도사업소장은 "계량기 동파 및 수도관 동결은 주민 생활에 직접적인 불편을 초래할 수 있다"고 밝혔다. 신 소장은 "신속한 민원 처리와 불편 최소화를 위해 대행사업자의 협조는 물론 군민 여러분의 관심과 동참이 중요하다"고 당부했다.

◆ 계량기 동파 예방 행동요령 안내

괴산군은 계량기 동파 예방을 위한 주민 행동요령을 안내하고 있다. 기온이 영하 5도 이하로 떨어질 경우 계량기 보호통 내부에 헌옷이나 보온재를 채워 보온 효과를 높여야 한다. 뚜껑은 비닐 등으로 덮어 외부 찬 공기가 유입되지 않도록 해야 한다. 수도 동파 발생 시 괴산군청 수도사업소 상수도팀(043-830-3631~5)으로 연락하면 된다.
