◆ 당진시 나눔 캠페인 개막식 개최
충남 당진시는 12월 2일 당진시청 대강당에서 '희망 2026 나눔 캠페인 이웃돕기 성금 모금 개막식'을 개최했다. 당진시, 당진시복지재단, 충남사회복지공동모금회가 주최·주관했다. 시민 및 기관·단체 관계자 300여 명이 참석했다. 행사는 식전 공연을 시작으로 유공자 표창, 성금 접수, 사랑의 메시지 전달, 기부자 전달식 순으로 진행됐다.
◆ 올해 목표액 8억 원 설정
당진시는 올해 모금 목표액을 8억 원으로 설정했다. 집중 모금 기간은 12월 1일부터 2026년 1월 31일까지 2개월간 운영한다. 오성환 당진시장은 "작년 모금액은 14억 원으로 15억 원 이상의 성금이 도움이 필요한 이웃에게 전달됐다"고 밝혔다. 오 시장은 "덕분에 당진시는 행복을 더하는 기부, 기부로 바꾸는 당진으로 자리매김할 수 있었다"고 감사를 전했다.
◆ 집중호우 복구 시민 참여 언급
오성환 시장은 올해 여름 기록적인 집중호우로 당진시 곳곳이 피해를 겪었을 때 많은 시민이 자발적으로 복구 활동과 성금 모금에 참여한 점을 언급했다. 오 시장은 "여러분의 도움 덕분에 당진시는 충남에서 가장 빠르게 일상으로 회복할 수 있었다"고 강조했다. 오 시장은 "이번 희망 나눔 캠페인은 겨울철 복지 사각지대 해소에 큰 힘이 될 것"이라며 "작은 기부라도 함께해 주신다면 어려운 이웃들에게 큰 희망이 된다"고 시민 참여를 당부했다.

◆ 모금 성금 투명하게 전달 예정
당진시는 모금된 성금과 후원품을 도움이 필요한 가구에 투명하고 신속하게 전달할 계획이다. 위기가구 긴급지원, 홀몸 어르신·장애인 등 취약계층 지원에도 활용할 예정이다. 기부를 희망하는 개인, 단체, 기업은 시청 사회복지과 행복키움지원팀(041-350-3660, 3666), 당진시복지재단(041-360-3005), 읍면동 행정복지센터를 통해 기탁할 수 있다. 공동모금 접수계좌(농협은행 301-0317-8719-21, 사회복지공동모금회)에 입금해도 된다.

◆ Dangjin City Holds Sharing Campaign Opening Ceremony
Dangjin City in Chungnam held the 'Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign Neighbor Assistance Fundraising Opening Ceremony' at Dangjin City Hall auditorium on December 2. Dangjin City, Dangjin City Welfare Foundation, and Chungnam Community Chest of Korea hosted and organized the event. Approximately 300 citizens and officials from institutions and organizations attended. The event proceeded with pre-ceremony performances followed by commendations for contributors, donation collection, delivery of messages of love, and donor presentation ceremony.
◆ This Year's Goal Set at 800 Million Won
Dangjin City set this year's fundraising goal at 800 million won. The intensive fundraising period runs for 2 months from December 1 to January 31, 2026. Dangjin Mayor Oh Seong-hwan stated that last year's fundraising amount was 1.4 billion won and over 1.5 billion won in donations was delivered to neighbors in need. Mayor Oh expressed gratitude saying Dangjin City could establish itself as a city of happiness-adding donations and donation-changing Dangjin.
◆ Mayor Mentions Citizen Participation in Flood Recovery
Mayor Oh Seong-hwan mentioned that many citizens voluntarily participated in recovery activities and fundraising when Dangjin City suffered damage from record-breaking torrential rain this summer. Mayor Oh emphasized that Dangjin City could recover to daily life fastest in Chungnam thanks to citizens' help. Mayor Oh urged citizen participation saying this Hope Sharing Campaign will be a great force in eliminating winter welfare blind spots and even small donations become great hope for neighbors in difficulty.
◆ Donations to Be Delivered Transparently
Dangjin City plans to deliver collected donations and sponsored goods transparently and promptly to households in need. The city will also use funds for emergency support for crisis households and support for vulnerable groups including elderly living alone and people with disabilities. Individuals, organizations, and companies wishing to donate can contribute through the City Hall Social Welfare Division Happiness Growth Support Team (041-350-3660, 3666), Dangjin City Welfare Foundation (041-360-3005), or local administrative welfare centers. Deposits can also be made to the joint fundraising account (Nonghyup Bank 301-0317-8719-21, Community Chest of Korea).
