천안시 26일 오엔시티호텔에서 직업교육 혁신지구 사업 워크숍 개최했다. 지역 기업·교육기관 50여 곳 참석 가운데 청년 취업 지원체계 강화 방안 논의했다.
◆ 직업계고·기업·대학, 산업 특화 인재 양성 협력
직업교육 혁신지구 사업은 직업계고, 기업, 대학이 협력해 지역 산업에 특화된 고졸 기술인재 양성하는 사업이다. 천안시는 이번 워크숍 통해 올해 사업 추진 성과 공유했다. 직업계고 졸업예정 청년을 포함한 지역 청년의 진로·취업 지원체계 논의가 이루어졌다.
◆ 고용센터·산업인력공단, 현장 협력 강화
천안시는 천안고용센터, 한국산업인력공단 등 관계기관의 지원 사업 소개했다. 기업의 인력 수요와 현장 애로사항 청취했다. 참여기관 간 협력기반을 강화하고, 현장 중심의 취업정보 공유로 청년 중심의 지역 일자리 네트워크 활성화 추진 중이다.
◆ 교육프로그램 고도화, 청년맞춤형 채용 연계
천안시 관계자는 "기업이 필요로 하는 인재를 적시 연결하기 위해 기업 요청을 반영해 교육프로그램 고도화하고, 청년맞춤형 채용 연계체계 강화해 나가겠다"고 밝혔다. 직업계고 학생과 대학생, 청년 구직자에게 제공할 현장 중심의 취업정보 공유로 지역 청년 일자리 네트워크 활성화될 것으로 기대된다.

The Vocational Education Innovation District project develops high school graduates with technical skills specialized in regional industries through cooperation among vocational high schools, companies, and universities. Cheonan City shared this year's project achievements through the workshop. Discussions took place on career and employment support systems for local youth, including high school graduates expected to graduate.
◆ Employment centers and industrial workforce agencies strengthen on-site cooperation
Cheonan City introduced support programs from related institutions including Cheonan Employment Center and Korea Industrial Human Resources Corporation. The city gathered information regarding companies' workforce needs and on-site challenges. The city pursues strengthening cooperation frameworks among participating institutions and activating a youth-centered local job network by sharing practical employment information.
◆ Educational programs upgraded with youth-tailored hiring linkage
A Cheonan City official stated, "To timely connect talent that companies need, we will enhance educational programs reflecting corporate requests and strengthen youth-customized job placement systems." Through sharing practical employment information for vocational high school students, college students, and young job seekers, the city expects activation of the region's youth-centered job network.
