행사는 2025학년도 천안특수교육 주요성과 보고, 특수교육 팀별 의견 나눔, 2026학년도 천안 특수교육 주요 방향성 협의 순서로 진행됐다. 각 팀은 올해 추진한 활동과 개선 방안을 공유하는 협의 시간을 가졌다. 이를 통해 특수교육지원센터 실무 현황을 종합적으로 검토했다.

2026학년도 특수교육 운영 방향 협의에서는 특수교육지원센터 업무 효율성 증대, 학급 지원체계 고도화, 지역자원을 활용한 학생 맞춤형 지원, 특수교육 프로그램 개선 등을 중심으로 심화 논의를 진행했다. 차덕환 교육장은 "특수교육지원센터의 전문성과 협력이 특수교육대상학생 지원의 핵심 요소"라며 "이번 나눔자리가 2025학년도를 정리하고 2026학년도 천안 특수교육의 체계적 발전을 이끄는 계기가 되길 바란다"고 말했다.
