◆ 행사 개최, 기업인 200명 모여
음성군기업인협의회(회장 채달원)는 지난 12일 음성읍 영빈웨딩컨벤션에서 제11회 음성군 기업인의 날 기념식을 개최했다. 조병옥 음성군수와 충북도의회·음성군의회 의원, 유관 기관장, 기업인협의회 회원과 가족 등 200여 명이 참석했다. 행사는 우수기업인 표창과 장학금 전달을 중심으로 진행됐다.
◆ 우수기업인 14개 기업 표창
도지사 표창은 명화칠공사·그린아트·삼육지관공업·성우모터스·제일산업 등 5개 기업이 수상했다. 음성군수 표창은 안도종합건설·효승스틸·옥정 농업회사법인·이현건설·조인 농업회사법인·오토월드자동차·삼진호스·더원테크이앤씨·진영호이스트 등 9개 기업이 수상했다. 이 외에 국회의원상·도의회 의장상·군의회 의장상·소방서장상·중소벤처기업청장상·고용노동청 충주지청장상·기업인협회 회장상 등 10개 기관에서 41명의 우수기업인에게 표창했다.

◆ 장학금 700만원, 학생 10명 지원
음성군기업인협의회 회원들은 지역인재 육성 목적으로 자발적 모금을 통해 조성한 장학금 700만 원을 관내 학생 10명에게 1인당 70만 원씩 전달했다. 채달원 회장은 "수상자들과 모든 기업인이 지역경제 발전의 주역이라는 자부심을 가져야 한다"며 "회원사 간 정보 공유와 협력으로 경쟁력을 높이고 기업과 지역이 함께 성장하는 상생의 공동체를 만들겠다"고 말했다. 조 군수는 "기업인의 열정과 헌신에 감사한다"며 "기업하기 좋은 환경을 조성해 지역과 함께 성장하는 산업도시 음성을 만들겠다"고 덧붙였다. 음성군은 2015년부터 매년 11월 둘째 수요일을 '기업인의 날'로 지정하고 있다.

◆ Ceremony Held with 200 Business Leaders in Attendance
The Eumseong Business Leaders Association (Chairman Chae Dal-won) held the 11th Eumseong Entrepreneurs' Day commemoration on the 12th at Young Bin Wedding Convention in Eumseong-eup. County Governor Cho Byung-ok, members of the North Chungcheong Provincial Assembly and Eumseong County Assembly, heads of related agencies, association members, and their families—approximately 200 people—attended. The event centered on commendations for outstanding business leaders and scholarship distributions.
◆ 14 Enterprises Receive Outstanding Business Leader Awards
Five companies received the Provincial Governor's Award: Myeonghwa Paint Construction, Green Art, Samyuk Building Services, Sungwoo Motors, and Jeil Industry. Nine companies received the County Governor's Award: Ando General Construction, Hyoseung Steel, Okjeong Agricultural Company, Ihyeon Construction, Joein Agricultural Company, Auto World Motors, Samjin Hose, The One Tech E&C, and Jinyeong Hoist. Additionally, 10 organizations including the National Assembly member award, Provincial Assembly chairman award, County Assembly chairman award, Fire Chief award, Small and Medium Venture Business Administration award, Employment Labor Office Chungju Branch director award, and Business Leaders Association chairman award honored 41 outstanding entrepreneurs.
◆ 70 Million Won Scholarship Distributed to 10 Students
Members of the Eumseong Business Leaders Association distributed 70 million won in scholarships—raised through voluntary contributions for regional talent development—to 10 local students at 7 million won per person. Chairman Chae Dal-won stated, "Award recipients and all entrepreneurs must take pride in being leaders of regional economic development," and added, "We will enhance competitiveness through information sharing and cooperation among member companies and build a mutually beneficial community where enterprises and regions grow together." County Governor Cho said, "I thank entrepreneurs for their passion and dedication," and emphasized, "We will create an industrial city of Eumseong that grows with the region by fostering a business-friendly environment." Eumseong County has designated the second Wednesday of November as 'Entrepreneurs' Day' since 2015.
