옥천 청산초등학교는 10일 청산면 노인복지관에서 건강생태 전통발효 장 나눔 행사를 진행했다. 학생들은 직접 만든 된장, 고추장, 간장, 막장을 지역 어르신들에게 전달했다. 교장 권혜숙이 학교를 이끌고 있다.

◆봄부터 준비한 장 담그기, 전통 식문화 체험

학생들은 지난 봄부터 학교 장독대에서 장 담그기 활동을 진행했다. 발효 원리와 전통 장의 맛을 배우며 우리 전통 식문화를 체험했다. 이번 나눔 행사는 건강생태 교육특화벨트 사업의 일환으로 마련됐다. 학생들은 "직접 만든 된장과 고추장을 어르신들께 드릴 수 있어서 기분이 좋았다"고 말했다.

◆지역 자원 활용 교육으로 공동체 의식 함양

Okcheon Cheongsan Elementary School held a health ecology traditional fermented sauce sharing event at Cheongsan-myeon Senior Welfare Center on the 10th. Students delivered doenjang, gochujang, ganjang, and makjang they made themselves to local seniors. Principal Kwon Hye-sook leads the school.

◆Jang-Making Activities Since Spring, Experiencing Traditional Food Culture

Students conducted jang-making activities at the school's jangdokdae since last spring. They learned fermentation principles and the taste of traditional sauces while experiencing Korean traditional food culture. This sharing event was organized as part of the Health Ecology Education Belt Project. Students said, "We felt good being able to give the doenjang and gochujang we made ourselves to the seniors."
