◆대회 출전 및 성적
충청남도 부여여자중학교는 2025년 11월 8일 부여 백제호 카누경기장에서 열린 제34회 충청남도학생체육대회 카누 종목에 학생들이 출전해 금메달 2개를 획득했다고 밝혔다. 2학년 신예리는 500m K-1 종목에서 금메달을 땄다. 2학년 김나혜와 이가온은 500m K-2 종목에서 금메달을 차지했다. 선수단은 오전 9시 경기를 시작했다.
◆대회 배경
충청남도교육청이 주최한 이번 대회는 제55회 전국소년체육대회 대비 평가전 성격을 갖는다. 대회는 학생 우수선수 조기 발굴과 학교 체육 활성화를 목적으로 운영됐다. 선수들은 방과 후 연습을 통해 체력과 기술을 다졌다.
◆학교 계획
고정옥 교장은 "학생들이 물 위에서 배움을 경험했다는 점에 큰 의미가 있다"라며 "학생들이 다양한 스포츠에서 꿈과 재능을 펼칠 수 있도록 학교가 적극 지원하겠다"라고 밝혔다. 부여여자중학교는 학생 선수들의 안전한 훈련 지원, 기초 체력 향상, 진로 연계 활동 등을 강화할 계획이다.

Buyeo Girls' Middle School in Chungcheongnam-do announced that students competed in the canoe event at the 34th Chungcheongnam-do Student Sports Festival held at Buyeo Baekje Lake Canoe Stadium on November 8, 2025, and won two gold medals. Second-year student Shin Ye-ri won a gold medal in the 500m K-1 event. Second-year students Kim Na-hye and Lee Ga-on won a gold medal in the 500m K-2 event. The team started the competition at 9 a.m.
◆Competition background
This competition, hosted by the Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education, serves as an evaluation match in preparation for the 55th National Youth Sports Festival. The competition was operated for the purpose of early discovery of excellent student athletes and revitalization of school sports. The athletes developed their physical strength and skills through after-school practice.
