◆ 제11회 은행나무길 마라톤대회 개최
아산시는 9일 곡교천 은행나무길에서 열린 제11회 아산 은행나무길 전국 마라톤대회가 성황리에 마무리됐다고 밝혔다. 아산시장은 오세현이다.
대회는 2025~2026년 아산 방문의 해를 맞아 전국 각지의 마라톤 동호인과 시민 등 4,500여 명이 참가했다.
하프·10km 코스에는 전문 마라토너들이 도전했다. 5km 코스는 가족·연인 단위 참가자들이 함께 즐기는 시민 참여형 코스로 운영됐다.
◆ 황금빛 은행나무길 코스 인기
곡교천 은행나무길을 출발해 곡교천변을 따라 달리는 마라톤 코스는 황금빛 단풍으로 물든 은행나무길과 곡교천의 아름다운 풍경이 함께 어우러져 참가자들의 탄성을 자아냈다.
올해로 11회를 맞은 은행나무길 마라톤대회는 해마다 참가자가 증가하고 있다. 올해는 전년 대비 약 1,000명이 증가해 전국 마라토너들의 높은 관심과 인기를 다시 한번 입증했다.
◆ 특별한 추억 남기길 기대
김범수 아산시 부시장은 "황금빛 은행나무와 곡교천변을 따라 달리는 이번 대회에서 가을의 정취를 흠뻑 느끼셨길 바란다"고 밝혔다.
김범수 부시장은 "끝까지 완주하신 모든 참가자분들의 열정과 도전에 경의를 표하며, 오늘의 경험이 아산에서의 특별한 추억으로 남길 바란다"고 말했다.

◆ 11th Ginkgo Tree Road Marathon Held
Asan City announced that the 11th Asan Ginkgo Tree Road National Marathon held on the 9th at the Gokgyocheon Stream Ginkgo Tree Road successfully concluded. The mayor of Asan City is Oh Se-hyun.
The event attracted approximately 4,500 marathon enthusiasts and citizens from across the country in celebration of the 2025-2026 Visit Asan Year.
Professional marathoners challenged the half marathon and 10km courses. The 5km course was operated as a citizen participatory course for families and couples to enjoy together.
◆ Popular Golden Ginkgo Tree Road Course
The marathon course, starting from the Gokgyocheon Stream Ginkgo Tree Road and running along the streamside, drew exclamations from participants as the golden autumn foliage-covered ginkgo tree road harmonized beautifully with the scenic Gokgyocheon Stream.
The Ginkgo Tree Road Marathon, now in its 11th year, has seen increasing participation each year. This year saw an increase of approximately 1,000 participants compared to last year, once again proving the high interest and popularity among marathoners nationwide.
◆ Hopes for Special Memories
Vice Mayor Kim Beom-soo of Asan stated, "I hope you fully experienced the autumn atmosphere while running along the golden ginkgo trees and Gokgyocheon Stream in this event."
Vice Mayor Kim said, "I pay tribute to the passion and challenge of all participants who completed the course, and I hope today's experience remains as a special memory in Asan."
