시는 2023년부터 로컬푸드 직매장 판매 농산물 143점을 수거·검사했다. 검사 대상은 국민 다소비 농산물, 부적합 다발생 품목, 김장용 채소류 등이다. 김희영 공주시농업기술센터 소장은 "시민들이 안심하고 농산물을 구매할 수 있도록 시기별 농산물 안전성 검사를 강화하고 지속적으로 관리하겠다"고 말했다.
