보령시가 농·어가의 유통비 부담을 덜어주기 위해 택배비 지원 사업에 나섰다.
◆ 왜 지원하나
농산물 유통 환경이 변화하면서 농·어가의 택배비 부담이 커지고 있다.
보령시는 유통비 부담을 완화하고 지역 농특산물 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해 이번 사업을 시행한다.
◆ 누가 받을 수 있나
보령시에 주소지를 둔 농어업경영체 또는 어업면허를 보유한 농어업인이 대상이다.
생산자단체도 신청할 수 있다.
2024년 11월부터 2025년 10월 31일까지 직접 생산한 농특산물을 소비자에게 배송한 경우 지원받을 수 있다.
◆ 얼마나 지원되나
택배 건당 1,500원을 지원한다.
농가당 연간 30만원, 생산자단체는 150만원 한도다.
쌀·과일·채소·버섯 등 농임산물, 건어·바지락 등 수산물, 유제품 등 축산물, 꿀·전통주 등 특산품이 지원 품목이다.
직접 생산하지 않은 농수축임산물은 제외된다.
◆ 어떻게 신청하나
11월 21일까지 신청해야 한다.
주소지 관할 출장소 또는 읍·면·동 행정복지센터를 방문해 신청서와 증빙서류를 제출하면 된다.
보령시는 서류심사를 거쳐 대상자를 선정하고 연말까지 지급한다.
◆ 지난해 실적은
보령시는 지난해 1,158명의 농·어가에 1억 2천만원의 택배비를 지원했다.
오제은 농업기술센터 소장은 "이번 택배비 지원 사업을 통해 농가의 유통비 절감과 지역 농특산물의 판매 활성화는 물론 농가 소득 증대에도 기여하길 기대한다"며 "농업인이 생산에만 전념할 수 있는 환경, 소비자가 안전하고 믿을 수 있는 먹거리를 구매할 수 있는 환경을 만들기 위해 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.

1,500 won per delivery is provided.
The limit is 300,000 won per farm household annually and 1.5 million won per producer organization.
Supported items include agricultural and forestry products such as rice, fruits, vegetables, and mushrooms; seafood such as dried fish and clams; livestock products such as dairy products; and specialties such as honey and traditional liquor.
Agricultural, fishery, livestock, and forestry products not directly produced are excluded.
◆ How to Apply
Applications must be submitted by November 21st.
Applicants can visit the district office or Eup/Myeon/Dong Administrative Welfare Center with jurisdiction over their address and submit application forms and supporting documents.
Boryeong City will select recipients through document screening and provide payment by the end of the year.
◆ Last Year's Performance
Boryeong City provided 120 million won in delivery costs to 1,158 farming and fishing households last year.
Oh Je-eun, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, stated, "We expect this delivery cost support project to contribute not only to reducing distribution costs for farms and revitalizing sales of local agricultural specialties, but also to increasing farm household income," and added, "We will do our best to create an environment where farmers can focus solely on production and consumers can purchase safe and reliable food."
