괴산군은 칠성면 사은리 산44-2번지 일원 산막이옛길 등산로 구간에 국가지점번호판 12개를 추가 설치했다고 1일 밝혔다.

국가지점번호는 산악·해안 등 비거주 지역에서 위치 확인이 어려운 상황에 대비해 설치되는 국가표준 위치표시체계다.

한글 2자리와 숫자 8자리로 구성된 10자리 고유번호를 기반으로 한다.

◆ 괴산군 설치 현황

괴산군에는 현재까지 총 575개의 국가지점번호판이 설치됐다.

괴산군은 매년 일제조사를 통해 망실되거나 훼손된 번호판을 정비하고 있다.

사고 발생 가능성이 높은 구간을 중심으로 신규 설치도 지속 추진하고 있다.

◆ 이번 설치 특징

추가 설치된 번호판은 등산객이 긴급 상황 발생 시 신속한 위치 확인과 구조 요청을 가능하게 한다.

번호판 후면에는 괴산군 주요 관광지를 소개하는 홍보용 관광안내도를 병행 부착했다.

괴산군은 이를 통해 지역 관광 활성화에도 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

송인헌 군수는 "국가지점번호판은 응급상황 발생 시 골든타임 확보에 핵심적인 역할을 한다"며 "앞으로도 군민과 방문객의 안전 확보를 위해 설치 확대 및 체계적인 유지관리에 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.

A total of 575 national location number plates have been installed in Goesan-gun to date.

Goesan-gun maintains lost or damaged number plates through annual comprehensive surveys.
