충북도체육회는 23일 제106회 전국체육대회에서 충북선수단이 종합 10위로 대회를 마쳤다고 밝혔다.
충북선수단은 이번 전국체전에서 금 50개, 은 64개, 동 82개 등 총 196개의 메달을 획득했다. 종합득점은 3만5058점을 기록했다. 목표보다 두 계단 낮은 종합 10위에 그쳤다.
충북은 이번 대회에서 종합 우승 3종목, 종합 3위 3종목 등 총 6종목에서 종합 입상했다.
롤러는 14개 메달(금 6, 은 6, 동 2)로 종합득점 2488점을 기록해 8년 연속 종합 우승을 달성했다.
우슈는 12개(금 5, 은 5, 동 2) 메달, 소프트테니스는 7개(금 4, 은 3) 메달로 작년에 이어 2년 연속 전국체전 종합 우승을 기록했다.
종합 3위 종목은 검도, 택견, 바둑이 차지했다.
윤현우 충북체육회장은 "대회 초반 성적이 아쉬운 경기가 많아 기대만큼 성적이 뒷받침되지 못한 것 같다"며 "올해 아쉬운 성적의 원인을 철저히 분석해 내년에는 더 좋은 성과를 올릴 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.
이번 전국체전은 지난 17일부터 23일까지 부산광역시 일원에서 열렸다. 충북은 49개 종목에 선수와 임원 1711명이 참가했다.

Yoon Hyun-woo, president of the Chungbuk Sports Council, said, "There were many disappointing matches in the early stages of the competition, so the results did not support expectations," adding, "We will thoroughly analyze the causes of this year's disappointing results and do our best to achieve better results next year."
This National Sports Festival was held in Busan Metropolitan City from the 17th to the 23rd. Chungbuk participated in 49 sports with 1,711 athletes and officials.
