화학물질 누출 현장 사진/ 음성소방서 제공 2025.10.22.

21일 오후 11시17분께 충북 음성군 대소면의 한 석유 판매업체에서 화학물질이 누출됐다.

공장 내 지하저장탱크에 보관돼 있던 VAM(비닐 아세테이트 모노머, 4류 위험물) 6만ℓ 중 400ℓ가 누출된 것으로 확인됐다.

유증기도 누출됐으나 당시 농도는 0.2~1.5ppm(1.8㎞ 반경)으로 유해 기준치(6.7ppm)를 초과하지 않았다. 인명 피해는 없었다.

관계 당국은 정확한 누출 경위를 조사 중이다.
