충청북도와 충북과학기술혁신원은 도내 정보보호 클러스터 지원기업 ㈜씨큐웨어가 10월 22일부터 25일까지 인천 송도컨벤시아에서 열리는 2025 국제보안산업박람회(KOREA SECURITY EXPO 2025)에 참가한다고 밝혔다.
이번 박람회는 경찰청이 주최하고 다수의 중앙부처 및 공공기관이 후원하는 국내 최대 규모의 보안 산업 전문 전시회다. 사이버보안, 물리보안, AI 기반 보안 솔루션 등 최신 기술이 선보인다.
㈜씨큐웨어는 응급의료, 재난안전, 정보보호 등 다양한 분야에서 융합보안 기술을 개발하는 충북지역 보안 기업이다.
씨큐웨어는 충북과학기술혁신원이 수행 중인 충청권 정보보호 클러스터 구축사업의 지원을 통해 기술고도화 및 판로 개척을 진행하고 있다. 이번 전시회 참가를 통해 공공기관 및 글로벌 바이어와의 네트워킹 확대와 시장 진출을 추진한다.
고근석 충북과학기술혁신원장은 "씨큐웨어와 같은 지역 기업이 국내 최고 수준의 보안 박람회에 참가하게 되어 뜻깊다"며 "앞으로도 도내 정보보호 기업의 성장을 적극 지원하겠다"고 밝혔다.
충청권 정보보호 클러스터 구축사업은 2025년 과학기술정보통신부와 한국인터넷진흥원 공모사업에 선정됐다. 세종, 충북, 충남, 대전이 참여해 5년간 지역 기반 정보보호 산업 생태계 조성을 위해 기술개발, 인프라 조성, 사업화, 인력양성 등을 지원하는 초광역 사업이다.

Chungcheongbuk-do Province and Chungbuk Institute of Science and Technology Innovation announced that Secuware Co., Ltd., a provincial information protection cluster support company, will participate in the 2025 International Security Industry Expo (KOREA SECURITY EXPO 2025) to be held at Songdo Convensia in Incheon from October 22 to 25.
This expo is the largest professional security industry exhibition in Korea hosted by the National Police Agency and sponsored by multiple central government ministries and public institutions. The latest technologies such as cybersecurity, physical security, and AI-based security solutions will be showcased.
Secuware Co., Ltd. is a Chungbuk regional security company that develops convergent security technology in various fields including emergency medical care, disaster safety, and information protection.
Secuware is conducting technology advancement and market development through support from the Chungcheong Region Information Protection Cluster Construction Project being carried out by the Chungbuk Institute of Science and Technology Innovation. Through participation in this exhibition, the company will promote networking expansion with public institutions and global buyers and market entry.
Go Geun-seok, President of Chungbuk Institute of Science and Technology Innovation, stated, "It is meaningful that a regional company like Secuware is participating in the highest level security expo in Korea," adding "We will actively support the growth of information protection companies in the province."
The Chungcheong Region Information Protection Cluster Construction Project was selected for the 2025 Ministry of Science and ICT and Korea Internet & Security Agency public offering project. It is a super-regional project in which Sejong, Chungbuk, Chungnam, and Daejeon participate to support technology development, infrastructure creation, commercialization, and human resource development for 5 years to create a regional-based information protection industry ecosystem.
