◆ 21개 공영주차장 실시간 정보 제공...스마트 폴 5개소·횡단보도 2개소 설치
스마트 주차장은 노상주차장에 주차센서와 주차면 인식 CCTV를 설치하고, 주차타워 정보를 연계해 21개소 공영주차장의 실시간 주차 정보를 시내 주요 지점 18개소의 VMS 전광판에 표시한다. 시장 주변 주차 혼잡을 분산시키고 시민과 운전자의 주차 불편을 완화할 것으로 기대된다. 시민의 안전과 편의 향상을 위해 지능형 CCTV, 비상벨, LED 전광판, 보안등, 공공 와이파이 등 다양한 기능을 통합한 스마트 폴 5개소와 보행자 안전을 강화하기 위한 스마트 횡단보도 2개소가 설치됐다.
◆ 주요 관광지에 전광판 설치...소상공인 유튜브 쇼츠 활용
도심 상권 활성화를 위한 소상공인 지원 플랫폼은 의림지, 청풍 만남의 광장, 옥순봉 출렁다리, 청풍문화재단지, 배론성지, 한방엑스포공원 등 주요 관광지에 대형 전광판을 설치해 관광객을 도심으로 유도한다. 지역 소상공인이 직접 제작한 유튜브 쇼츠 영상을 홍보 콘텐츠로 활용할 수 있어, 지역경제와 디지털 콘텐츠 산업을 연계한 새로운 모델로 주목받고 있다. 시 관계자는 "이번 사업을 통해 스마트도시 기반 인프라를 확충하고, 시민이 체감할 수 있는 서비스를 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다"며 "제천을 사람 중심의 스마트도시로 발전시켜 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.
