◆ 축제 개요
장야초등학교(교장 이기분)는 10월 16일부터 17일까지 전교생을 대상으로 제10회 수학진로채움 축제 ‘수학을 보고, 만지고, 느끼다!’를 개최했다. 이번 축제는 체험 중심 수학 프로그램을 통해 학생들이 수학을 재미있게 배우고 관련 진로를 탐색할 수 있도록 운영됐다.

◆ 체험 프로그램 운영
‘흥미채움’ 코너에서는 학년별 교육과정과 연계한 수학 보드게임을 체험하며 창의적·융합적 사고를 기를 수 있는 활동이 진행됐다. ‘역량채움’ 코너에서는 협력게임, 컬링활동, 균형게임, 좁은문, 중력무시, 구연산 등 다양한 부스 활동을 운영했고, 장야초 수학동아리 학생들이 직접 부스를 운영하며 친구들에게 수학 교구 활용법을 안내했다. ‘공간채움’ 코너에서는 수학적 창작 구조물 만들기 등 창의적 활동을 통해 학생들의 사고력과 문제해결력을 높였다.

◆ 사업 배경과 향후 계획
이번 사업은 옥천군 교육경비 지원사업의 일환으로 추진됐다. 장야초등학교는 앞으로도 학생들이 수학을 즐기고 긍정적으로 인식할 수 있도록 다양한 체험 중심 수학교육을 지속하여, 미래를 주도하는 진로교육과 수학교육을 실현할 계획이다.

◆ Festival Overview
Jangya Elementary School (Principal Lee Ki-bun) held the 10th Mathematics Career Festival, “See, Touch, and Feel Math!” for all students from October 16 to 17, 2025. The festival aimed to help students learn math enjoyably and explore related career paths through hands-on programs.

◆ Hands-on Programs
In the “Interest” section, students played math board games linked to their grade-level curriculum to develop creative and convergent thinking. The “Competency” section offered booths with collaborative games, curling activities, balance games, narrow passage, anti-gravity, and arithmetic operations, run by the school’s math club students who guided their peers in using math tools. The “Space” section included creative construction projects to enhance students’ problem-solving skills and mathematical confidence.

◆ Program Background and Future Plans
The festival was part of the Okcheon County Education Expense Support Project. Jangya Elementary plans to continue providing hands-on math education, helping students enjoy and positively perceive math, while promoting career-oriented and future-driven mathematics education.
