청양군(군수 김돈곤)은 지난 16일 ㈜애경산업 CDC물류센터 일원에서 재난 대응을 위한 ’2025년 재난대비 안전충남훈련‘을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
훈련에는 군을 비롯한 관내 유관기관·민간단체·민간기업 등 10개 기관, 인력 150명과 장비 33여 대가 참여해 기관 간 연계를 통한 재난 대응체계 확립은 물론 안전문화 확산의 계기가 됐다. 훈련은 「재난 및 안전관리 기본법」에 따른 지자체 상시 훈련으로 청양소방서 긴급 구조종합훈련과 연계해 진행됐다.
훈련에서는 최근 인근 지역의 지진 및 공장 대형 화재 사례를 반영해, 지진으로 시작해 물류센터 화재로 이어지는 상황을 설정하고 화재 진압, 주민 대피, 인명 구조 등 단계별 대응 절차를 실습했다. 윤여권 부군수는 “실제와 같은 몰입형 훈련을 통해 복잡·다변화하는 재난 대응체계를 재점검했다”며 “훈련에서 숙달된 절차와 협업 체계를 바탕으로 재난 발생 시 신속하고 정확하게 대응하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Cheongyang County (Mayor Kim Don-gon) held the “2025 Disaster Preparedness Safety Training” on October 16 at the Aekyung Industrial CDC Logistics Center to enhance disaster response capabilities.
The training involved 10 local organizations, including county authorities, private associations, and companies, with 150 personnel and 33 pieces of equipment participating. The exercise aimed to establish an integrated disaster response system among institutions while promoting a culture of safety. The training was conducted in accordance with the Local Government Disaster and Safety Management Act and was coordinated with the Cheongyang Fire Station’s comprehensive emergency rescue drill.
The exercise simulated a scenario starting with an earthquake followed by a logistics center fire, reflecting recent regional earthquake and large factory fire cases. Participants practiced step-by-step procedures including fire suppression, resident evacuation, and life-saving operations. Vice Mayor Yoon Yeogwon said, “The immersive drill allowed us to reassess our response system for complex and evolving disasters. Using the practiced procedures and cooperative framework, we will respond quickly and accurately in the event of an actual disaster.”
