세종특별자치시가 오는 18일 조치원읍 세종시민체육관에서 '주민의 손길로 가꾸어, 세종의 내일을 꽃피우다'를 주제로 제6회 세종시 주민자치박람회를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 박람회는 세종시가 주최하고 세종시 주민자치연합회와 24개 읍면동 주민자치회가 공동으로 주관한다.

4개 마당으로 구성

행사는 ▲여는 한마당 ▲어울림 마당 ▲즐김 마당 ▲알림 마당 등으로 구성된다. 주민자치의 다양한 활동 내용을 한자리에서 만나볼 수 있다.

오전 10시부터 개회식 퍼포먼스, 주민자치 성과보고 등 공식 행사가 '여는 한마당'에서 열린다.

예술작품 전시·체험프로그램 운영

'어울림 마당'에서는 서예, 유화 등 주민자치 예술작품 전시회가 열린다. 읍면동 주민자치회가 준비한 다채로운 체험프로그램도 만나볼 수 있다.

'즐김 마당'에서는 읍면동 주민자치프로그램 수강생들이 준비한 라인댄스, 풍물, 밸리댄스, 하모니카 등 생활문화 프로그램 경연대회가 펼쳐진다.

1년간 마공유을계획사업 성과

'알림 마당'에서는 24개 읍·면·동 주민자치회가 1년간 추진한 마을계획사업, 자치활동 등 성과를 시민들과 공유할 계획이다.

이상호 자치행정국장은 "이번 박람회는 주민이 직접 기획하고 참여하는 세종형 자치의 현재를 보여주는 자리로, 시민의 자발적 참여와 협력은 세종의 미래를 밝히는 힘이 될 것"이라며 "앞으로도 주민자치가 더욱 발전할 수 있도록 꾸준히 지원하겠다"고 말했다.

김문회 주민자치연합회장은 "1년간 24개 읍면동 주민자치회가 함께 노력한 결과를 시민과 함께 나누는 의미 있는 시간이 될 것으로 기대한다"며 "이번 박람회를 통해 주민자치의 가치를 확산하도록 하겠다"고 전했다.

At 'Harmony Square', an exhibition of residents' self-government artworks such as calligraphy and oil paintings will be held. Various experience programs prepared by eup-myeon-dong residents' self-government councils can also be encountered.

At 'Enjoyment Square', a life culture program competition including line dance, folk music, belly dance, and harmonica prepared by students of eup-myeon-dong residents' self-government programs will unfold.

Sharing 1 Year of Village Planning Project Achievements

At 'Information Square', 24 eup-myeon-dong residents' self-government councils plan to share with citizens the achievements of village planning projects and self-government activities promoted over the past year.

Lee Sang-ho, Director of Autonomous Administration Bureau, said, "This expo is a place to show the present of Sejong-style autonomy where residents directly plan and participate, and citizens' voluntary participation and cooperation will be the power to brighten Sejong's future," adding, "We will continue to support the further development of residents' self-government."

Kim Mun-hoe, Chairman of the Residents' Self-Government Association, said, "I expect it to be a meaningful time to share with citizens the results of 24 eup-myeon-dong residents' self-government councils' efforts over the past year," adding, "We will spread the value of residents' self-government through this expo."
