상학주차장 일원서 열려
충북 단양군 적성면 금수산 일원에서 열리는 '제24회 금수산감골단풍축제'가 오는 19일 상학주차장 일원에서 열린다.
'가자, 단풍 속으로!'를 슬로건으로 한 이번 축제는 금수산의 오색 단풍을 배경으로 산행·공연·체험·먹거리가 어우러진 프로그램을 선보인다.
산신제·개막식·축하공연 진행
금수산감골단풍축제추진위원회(위원장 박완수)가 주관하고 단양군이 후원하는 이번 행사는 금수산 단풍 산행을 시작으로 산신제와 개막식, 축하공연 순으로 진행된다.
축하공연에는 정다경·진영·금수봉 등 초대가수가 출연해 무대를 선보이며, MC 안은채의 사회로 즉석 게임과 경품 추첨이 함께 진행된다.
8개 체험부스 운영
주민이 직접 참여하는 체험부스에서는 떡메치기, 곶감 만들기, 한지공예, 드립커피 시음, 가훈 써 주기, 단풍잎 책갈피 만들기 등 총 8개 프로그램이 운영된다.
오미자 음료, 강정, 감 디저트, 지역 농·특산물 등 단양의 맛과 멋을 한자리에서 즐길 수 있는 판매부스와 먹거리 장터도 열린다.
특별 이벤트·포토존 조성
'금 한돈을 잡아라!', '도전! 금수산 최강 산악회' 등 특별 이벤트와 금수산 산행 이벤트가 함께 열려 방문객들에게 즐거움을 더한다.
행사장 주변에는 황화코스모스·국화·포토프레임 등 가을 감성 포토존이 조성돼 인증사진 명소로 인기를 끌 전망이다.
무료 셔틀버스 운행
축제 당일에는 적성면 각 마을을 순회하는 무료 셔틀버스가 오전 9시부터 운행되며, 교통 및 주차 관리 인력이 현장에 배치돼 방문객의 편의를 지원한다.
위원회 관계자는 "올해 축제는 주민이 함께 기획하고 참여하는 진정한 지역축제로 준비했다"며 "아름다운 금수산 단풍 아래에서 자연과 사람, 그리고 문화가 어우러지는 따뜻한 가을 축제가 되길 바란다"고 말했다.

The 24th Geumsoo Mountain Gamgol Autumn Foliage Festival, held in the Geumsoo Mountain area of Jeokseong-myeon, Danyang County, North Chungcheong Province, will take place on October 19 at the Sanghak Parking Lot area.
This festival, with the slogan "Let's Go into the Autumn Leaves!", presents a program combining hiking, performances, experiences, and food against the backdrop of Geumsoo Mountain's colorful autumn foliage.
Mountain God Ritual, Opening Ceremony, and Congratulatory Performance
The event, organized by the Geumsoo Mountain Gamgol Autumn Foliage Festival Promotion Committee (Chairman Park Wan-soo) and sponsored by Danyang County, will proceed in order with Geumsoo Mountain autumn foliage hiking, a mountain god ritual, opening ceremony, and congratulatory performance.
The congratulatory performance will feature guest singers including Jeong Da-gyeong, Jin Young, and Geum Soo-bong, with MC Ahn Eun-chae hosting impromptu games and prize drawings.
8 Experience Booths Operating
At experience booths where residents directly participate, a total of 8 programs will operate, including rice cake pounding, dried persimmon making, Korean paper crafts, drip coffee tasting, family motto writing, and autumn leaf bookmark making.
Sales booths and food markets will also open where visitors can enjoy Danyang's flavors and attractions in one place, including omija beverages, gangjeong, persimmon desserts, and local agricultural specialties.
Special Events and Photo Zones
Special events such as "Catch the Gold Handon!" and "Challenge! Geumsoo Mountain's Strongest Hiking Club" will be held along with Geumsoo Mountain hiking events to add enjoyment for visitors.
Around the event venue, autumn-themed photo zones featuring sulfur cosmos, chrysanthemums, and photo frames will be created, expected to be popular as photo spot attractions.
Free Shuttle Bus Service
On the festival day, free shuttle buses circulating through each village in Jeokseong-myeon will operate from 9 AM, and traffic and parking management personnel will be deployed on-site to support visitors' convenience.
A committee official said, "This year's festival was prepared as a true community festival planned and participated in by residents," adding, "We hope it will be a warm autumn festival where nature, people, and culture come together under the beautiful Geumsoo Mountain autumn foliage."
