◆ 충전 중 보조배터리서 '펑' 소리 후 화염

충전 중이던 보조배터리에서 화재가 발생한 것으로 추정된다. 소방당국에 따르면 신고자는 "취침 중 '펑' 소리와 함께 충전 중이던 보조배터리에서 화염이 발생했다"고 진술했다. 6일 오전 4시 21분께 청주시 청원구 오창읍의 한 다세대주택에서 화재가 발생했다. 소방당국은 경찰 과학수사팀과 합동 현장 감식을 진행해 정확한 화재 원인을 조사할 예정이다.

◆ 30대 여성 등 3명 부상, 주택 1가구 전소

이 화재로 30대 여성 등 3명이 연기 흡입과 화상 등으로 부상을 입었다. 주택 1가구(28㎡)와 가재도구가 전소돼 소방 추산 2천여만 원의 재산 피해가 발생했다. 청주동부소방서는 인력 55명과 장비 26대를 투입해 30여 분 만인 오전 4시 53분께 진화를 완료했다.

Three people including a woman in her 30s were injured from smoke inhalation and burns in the fire. One housing unit (28㎡) and household items were completely burned, causing property damage estimated by fire authorities at about 20 million won. Cheongju Dongbu Fire Station deployed 55 personnel and 26 pieces of equipment and completed extinguishing the fire at 4:53 a.m., about 30 minutes later.
