◆ 6학년 학생 주도 20여 개 부스 운영
당진 대덕초등학교(교장 신기섭)는 12월 23일 화요일 교내 체육관 '대덕 꿈마루'에서 '재능기부의 날' 행사를 개최했다. 행사는 오후 12시 20분부터 2시 40분까지 140분간 진행됐다. 6학년 학생들이 행사 기획부터 준비, 운영까지 모든 과정을 주도했다.

충남소프트웨어교육체험센터와 당진AI미래교육센터가 별도 부스를 지원했다. 학생들은 평소 접하기 어려운 소프트웨어와 인공지능 기술을 직접 경험할 수 있었다. 이는 대덕초가 지향하는 미래 창의 융합 교육 방향을 반영한 것이다.
◆ 학교 공동체 함께, 학부모 높은 평가
행사에는 4학년부터 6학년 학생 140여 명과 학부모들이 참여했다. 부스를 운영한 6학년 학생은 "후배들과 부모님이 즐겁게 참여하는 모습을 봤다"고 전했다. 한 학부모는 "아이들의 준비 수준에 놀랐고, AI와 코딩 같은 미래교육을 축제 형식으로 경험할 수 있어 만족스러웠다"고 평가했다.
신기섭 교장은 "학생들이 나눔의 기쁨을 배우고 스스로 문제를 해결하며 자존감을 높이는 기회가 됐다"며 "앞으로도 학생 주도의 창의적 교육 환경을 조성하겠다"고 밝혔다.

Dangjin Daedeok Elementary School (Principal Shin Ki-seop) held a 'Talent Sharing Day' event on Tuesday, December 23, in the school gymnasium called 'Daedeok Dream Hall.' The event ran for 140 minutes from 12:20 p.m. to 2:40 p.m. Sixth-grade students led all processes from planning to preparation and operations.
The booths consisted of future technology experiences including robot soccer, artificial intelligence omok, and artificial intelligence coding exploration, along with tarot card consultations, magic tricks, escape room challenges, reaction speed tests, and trend awareness quizzes. Food experiences such as eco-friendly cotton candy making, cookie decorating, and Christmas cookie making were also offered alongside art activities including face painting and figure making.
◆ Partnership with Local Expert Organizations Provides Advanced Technology Experiences
The South Chungcheong Software Education Experience Center and Dangjin AI Future Education Center provided separate booths. Students had direct experience with advanced software and artificial intelligence technologies that they normally have limited access to. This reflected Daedeok Elementary's commitment to future creative convergence education.
◆ School Community Participates, Parents Provide Positive Feedback
The event drew participation from approximately 140 students from grades 4 through 6 and parents. A sixth-grade student operating a booth stated, "I saw younger students and parents enjoying the activities." One parent commented, "I was impressed by the students' preparation level, and I was satisfied that they could experience future education such as AI and coding in festival format."
Principal Shin Ki-seop said, "This became an opportunity for students to learn the joy of sharing and develop confidence by solving problems independently," adding "We will continue to create student-led creative educational environments."
