보령문화원(원장 신재완)은 1월 1일 성주산 일출전망대에서 해맞이 행사를 개최한다. 행사는 오전 6시 50분부터 시작되며 ▲불 밝히기 ▲농악놀이 등 식전 행사와 ▲신년 인사 ▲소망 기원 촛불 점화 ▲해오름 함성 ▲축하 공연 순으로 진행된다.
